Sounds like a large steaming pile of shizzle to me, however as I know I have done it at least twice I would like to put the myth right to bed. Please don't prey on my gullability as I fear the veins currently protruding from my head will surely bulge more and eventually burst from the rage I would feel. This would stem from not being told any of this by my friendly Ford dealer, ESPECIALLY after I specifically asked him how I should AND SHOULDN'T be driving my new toy!! I'll explain: XR6T = T-Rex Bigger car = XR8 (for example) Bigger dinosaur = Brontasaurus, Diplodicus etc. T-Rex kicks Brontasaurus' butt. T-Rex is a smaller dino, but much more ferocious [in the voice of Prof Frink from "The Simpsons"] "with the gnashing of the teeth, and the ripping of the flesh and the GLAVEN!" THEREFORE: XR6T vs. XR8 = 6 kicks the 8's arse all around the ring.... Clear as mud.... If anyone else has a name for their pride and joy please share!....

I think I've got a new one involving a new car!

Gday all, As you can see from my username I have chosen a bit of a suss name for my car. The kids wanted to call the car "Rex", and for obvious reasons (ie: WRX) I thought this was a bad idea. NOW! I thought about it and XR6T, when craftily re-arranged, spells T-R6X. I had to use this name because of the similarities between the XR6T and the mighty T-Rex: A beast who, whilst not the largest of it's type, rules the jungle with an iron fist!! I'm thinking that the fact that the XR6T kicks ALL V8's into submission more than warrants this beastly moniker. Innevitably, the follwing questions need to be answered: 1. Do you think this is an appropriate name for my Rapid dragon-slayer of a 6? 2. Do you think the name is too closely related to the Subaru "Rex"? 3. Do you have a name for your car?, and 4. Do I have too much time on my hands to be so engrossed in such a silly subject? Can't wait to hear some responses. Cheers all, Eyby

Good on ya mate. I've only recently had my cherry popped as well. Picked mine up a week ago. Mine's Rapid with Premium Sound, leather seats, tints and mats. How is the sound system in that b**ch!! Me likey very much. I've done 1100 kms in mine so far. Not bad when I only live 5kms from work!! I knock off at 4.00pm, but the call always goes in, "Sorry dear, gotta work back late. Won't be home till 5. Need anything from the shops?!" lol.
