  1. Apologies if this isn't the right thread but I couldn't get permission to start a new topic! I heard on the weekend that Caltex will soon be selling the Vortex plus (or whatever it is called) in WA. At last we will have an option to using BP Ultimate. I am sure that the pricing will be surprisingly (not) similar to Ultimate but does anyone know if there is any real difference between the two in engine response and running?
  2. I saw a GT-P the other day with a set of Federal SS595's (I think) in a 245/40/18. I presume that they aren't original equipment so was wondering if anyone had used them and had any impressions on their handling, wear, noise etc. From the website the 17's seem to be reasonably priced but not sure how the 18's stack up.
  3. Put me down as a maybe from Kings Park subject to confirmation closer to the actual date.
  4. Has anyone tried the new Park Ford in East Vic Park? I understand that it is part of the Perth Auto Alliance but would be interested to see if they are of value as they are the most convenient location for servicing.
  5. My car is nearly due for its 30000k service and I don't necessarily want to use the dealer who serviced the car previously (no issues but a long way to travel). Does anyone have any good experiences of someone who will treat the car properly? Whilst on this topic what is members experience with tyre wear on 18" rims? I am currently running Dunlop SP9000s which appear to have a reasonable amount of tread left but what mileage are other members getting?
  6. Has anyone in the forum considered group buying power for insurance just like other products. With the number of forum members and a broad geographic and demographic spread it may be possible to get preferential rates particularly if an insurer can be located who understands the vehicles involved. Obviously this would need a significant level of interest to make it work. What level of interest is out there for this?
  7. This is my first post but have been watching the forum for a few weeks now. I'm interested in the cruise and looking forward to further details when finalised.
