You can buy the exedy stage 1 kit with new frictions for around $600 or exedy stage 2 kit with new frictions and new thinner steels (hence more plates per clutch pack) for around $1150 from motospecs. Stage 1 is rated to 600rwhp and stage 2 is rated for 1000rwhp on a stock tcm tune.
I had trouble as well, I ended up putting everything together with the clamps loose and moving the pipes in, out and twisting the silicone joiners until it sat right. To the op: whaditmake?
I run poly air springs airbags in my bf f6. run the hoses so the ends are behind the fuel door and pump them up when needed. (not at a servo, those auto things flow to much air.) That is with stock suspension, but a full tray. Tyres, tools and what not.
Pw 2.1 kit, pw surge, x force 3.5" split dump with dual 2.5" system, wastegate modded/flapper, 12lb actuator, 60lb injectors. Ended up just shy of 400rwkw at 18psi.
I've got a xforce twin 2.5" with 3.5" split dump. Fairly quiet when you are putting around and the split dump makes it sound great on boost. Ran nearly 400rwkw so it can defiantly flow enough to make the power.
Removing the tub isn't that hard, if you can lift it. You can lift it with only two people if you have to but either 4 people or using lifting aids (chain block ect) would make it a lot easier. Remove the hard cover, Remove the plastic tub (12 bolts and 4 screws) I removed the tail gate to save weight because I did a team lift. Either remove the tail lights and disconnect the plugs or reach up from underneath to disconnect them, Remember to pull the cable clip off the body. Disconnect the plug for the no plate light. Remove a couple scrivets (those plastic Phillips screw/push things) that attach the plastic wheel arch liners to the chassis. Remove the clip on the back of the fuel door to the fuel cap. Remove the 10 (I think) bolts that hold the tray to the ute. Lift and admire how good your ute looks without a tray! I've got a walbro 255lph in tank and it supports 400rwkw.
I got my 2007 BF2 F6 auto ute dyno tuned last week. It made 393.9rwkw @4905rpm and 894.2NM@4856. 38 deg air temp, 18psi boost and only 11 deg of timing. Mods are: process west stage 2.1 kit Xforce 3.5" split dump, 3.5"cat, 2.5" twin exhaust in tank walbro pump modded factory turbo with bigger flapper and turbosmart 12lb actuator tuned with xcal3 I've also replaced the rubber bushes around the rear leafs with solid plates for more traction. When I bought the ute all I wanted was 300rwkw. Im pretty happy with the outcome!
I put one in my old ba xr8, made it turn in heaps better even with the big boat anchor up front. I'm not 100% sure about legality side of things. I did the front first and after a short drive I did the back as well. It was alot better with both changed. However my bf f6 tornado handles better then the modded xr8 did and its stock.
