  1. Cheers for that guys, hopefully the issue isn't o big, ill be checking all those suggestions out
  2. how do I go about checking my block for cracks? Its cast iron, you'd think it would be hard to crack that?!
  3. When I pull the water pump off you can see oil trickling down the interior. Nah I haven't pulled any codes as of yet. I'm hoping its residual but I've just checked my oil and I'm still losing oil.
  4. Any other options guys? Advice is much appreciated.
  5. Hey guys, I have a Bf F6 Typhoon, 78000kms on the clock. I have been getting a coffee coloured sludge in my coolant, but no water in my oil. I have already stripped the car down and changed the head gasket, while doing this I found water in going into my water pump and I'm not sure what is causing that.... I have tried to flush the system, but I've only used a hose, should I take it in to someone to flush it for me? That took me a while and recently I have put the car back together and I taken it for a test drive a few days ago. Was running fine and on the way home I gave it a bit of kick to bring my turbo in and my battery light came up first then my oil light, then my engine dropped out???? It did however start up straight away when I came to a hault on the side of the road and I drove home slowly. Today I started her up again and while it was only ideling the oil gauge is sitting half way, Im not sure if this is a bad thing or if its just because of start up? I'm not sure where I should go from here, any advice would be muchly appreciated! Cheers oh and after the ride the sludge was still in the coolant reservoir. Cheers
