    Xmas List!

xmas stocking is oversized for me this year..... and coming early.... pick ing up new BF Mk II 'T' this thurs/fri WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Adrian
  3. Hi guys.... I know this Q has more than likely been answered time and again... but.... is there a more than likely reason my T has yet again dropped to NOT impressive stock performance?? I have got gradual but minimal boost.. (actuator has been replaced),, Exhaust bolts/studs are tight and all there.... vehicle has just had an 'everything done' service... And no, there has been no mod's done to the engine at all.. Latest upgrade was done in may. Do the T's suffer from blocked cat on a regular basis?... If so... is a high flow cat on a stocker my alternative option? Please help Adrian
  4. Sorry mate... gotta say 'nope' to that tone. it does sound very 'hole in the muffler'ish. you'll probably find it'll crackle bad on decel also sorry Adrian
  5. Yeah.... your right.... FOR SALE:.... 2 kids, low mileage late models... wills swap for discount fuel card Adrian
  6. Saw one at Ocean ford just the other day..... fell in love with colour there and then totally awesome!!!!!!!! Adrian
  7. Makes you wonder if the new Shell 100ron fuel we heard about, is really going to be 100ron... or will IT be a 98ish unstead
  8. If that is the case.... do you think that by changing the fuel pump in a BA to a BF type(if possible...), that you would not have to change the injectors and valve springs when going for a power upgrade edit under say, 280rwkw? Do we know what the max power output is for BA valve springs? And if possible to do, does anyone know the rough price of a BF pump? Just curious guys.. Cheers Adrian
  9. MMMMMM..... chromies on a phantom T..... Couldn't have done better mate. Excellent choice Adrian
  10. Sorry guys..... don't know how the reply got up that many times.... damn computor!!!
  11. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...e=post&id=17680 I think that bionic on the standard XR6, looks brilliant as a solid colour .. but maybe put a set of ROH's like the one from another members T below on it, and give it some attitude Aint seen EGO yet but that sounds topnotch also.... Do like Fantasy from what I've seen, but gotta admit.... There's nothin' like a phantom T (that's gonna start some debate ) Cheers Adrian roh_1.bmp

  14. I would lodge a formal complaint with the Ford head office.... All cars are supposed to be roadtested/run after each service/repair... That kind of workmanship is just unforgivable. What if someone did that to their vehicle.... it would be an entirely different story Hope you get it fixed with the minimal of fuss. Adrian
  15. If that's for me mattson, I'm havin trouble gett'n it on the comp..... But I'm workin on it.... Just have to reassemble my video cam... its in a few pieces Adrian
  16. I hope FORD don't follow Expensive Daewoo with the european styling in the next generation on from the BF range...... We're AUSSIES, and as a proud one, believe that our cars at the moment are some of the best looking ones in the world..... why take on somebody elses designs. After all, even as countries, we are still individual. Expensive Daewoo should stick to what's Aussie!!! Just my 2 cents Adrian
  17. Hello O'great Rat-tailed One... (so minime tells me...) I am of the opinion that after having an extended warranty on other cars mate, they aint worth the recycled paper they're written on!!! IF, you get a claim put in, they usually only pay up to a certain pre-determined amount which you have NO say in anyway.... which is usually a max of around 500-1000 smackers if your lucky. Over that, your wallet gets very thin really fast. My opinion, O'wise One is to get the pre end of warranty check and repairs as suggested, BUT.... remember, if it aint broke... don't fiddle with it..... if it is broke, Repair it and Mod the sh*t out of it. Oh yeah, say hi to Lea for me Cheers Adrian
  18. Washed the top of the beast, got some more cleaning.... I mean detailing, next weekend...... But first I wanna go and take back the rubber I scuffed onto my paint from their boundary tyre Aaaaahhh the fun of it all Adrian
  19. I've got some on tape citric, if I can get it on the comp, I'll post it up Adrian
  20. don't forget the keyboard I now have to replace*&^%(&^
  21. Just gonna echo the praise of others.... Thanks Trev and Shaz, day was excellent.... worth the travel from the sunny coast aaannnnd learnt a sh*tload, now am hangin' to do it all again. Around june'ish seems like a good time (*hint hint* ). Also really good to finally meet some new faces and see some older ones. Cheers Adrian
  22. Any of you guys got an idea how long by the speed limit it will take to get to the cotton from ohh... say... coolum beach? It's gonna be a early start Cheers Adrian
  23. Carefull kawerx, we use castrol edge at work and unless there are a couple of different viscosities available (which I don't doubt), the gold container which we get is 25/50.... to thick for the T's. Myself guys, I opt for every 5000k changes using egine flush on the way out, and wynns friction proofing on the way in..... Oil of choice is Shell helix ultra 5w/40, full synthetic (use it in my charade too). I have found that the friction proofing does make a difference you can feel in speed of revving, albeit only minor. My 2 cents worth.... Cheers Adrian
  24. Hi all... Larry seems to have done his bit in the destruction stakes, but like stated previous, he could redevelope and come around for another hit.. hope not. Wati looks like the next big thing so to speak and they don't know what way it is going to head 100%. All I can say is, Thoughts and best wishes to anybody that has been effected by cyclone Larry... and to you zap, as well as anybody else possibly in the path of Wati... Buckle down and stay as safe as possible. Adrian
