  1. what did I do today? Stalled it again -.- and its auto.....fml
  2. no good, same issue on my way home. Stopped at a stop sign and boom stalled like a boss called the tuner and he said he will have a look through the tune for anything odd and get back to me ASAP. am I crazy for thinking it could be something other than the tune? Fuel pump because of the injectors? Spark plugs?
  3. yeah I'll definitely give an update in the next few days. If its not fixed I'll be back at the tuner anyway. Fingers crossed!

  5. Thanks for the feedback masda. That makes me feel a little better haha. I definitely will be getting the car serviced with my tuner and have no intention of cracking it at him or being rude, however I will stay on his case in the nicest way possible to ensure I have a good end product. it is beneficial for both of us that I get a good outcome and after all, the work I had done isn't exactly cheap. I hope that the changes he made to the tune this morning will have fixed the problem for me like it did for you.
  6. I don't mind the rough idle as long as it doesn't stall. But yesterday the rough idle was leading to stalling. As I said my tuner did some small changes this morning and it seems to rectify the problem (for now anyway) I will definitely be keeping regular touch with him to ensure the problem is fixed because its a daily drive and I cant afford to have it stalling on me.
  7. anyone had any issues at idle? after I did my mods last weekend it idles rough when I started the car up and actually stalled when I came to a stop at the lights. The revs just dropped too low when I brake and stop at the lights. took it back to my tuner who changed a couple of numbers in the tune, seems to be running back to normal this morning but fingers crossed it stays like that. Could the fact it was tuned on a 38 degree day alter the numbers? or the fact that the FG tries to adjust itself? or even new spark plugs etc? Anyone had similar issues?
  8. nice looking dyno sheet! My dyno sheet seems to have the peak power come on alot earlier than yours does. My torque is around 821nm which is a lot higher as well. Not sure what that has to do with, the tune and other factors to do with the FG I assume. I will try to upload it tonight when I get home
  9. yeah all very valid comments. FG's exhaust is fine for the kw I'm pushing its just the cat that is restrictive, which I changed as mentioned. Not sure about that of the BA/BF though so can't comment. I think if we ran the boost higher obviously could've pulled a bit more but I'd rather have a more reliable 306rwkw than a stressed out 320rwkw. Next I'm looking at spark plugs and possibly an actuator, then I'll be able to run 17psi all the way through the rev range weeeeeeee!

  11. well, im running 98 all the time on it and keeping in mind it was a 38 degree day when we did the dyno also. Maybe could've pulled a few more horses in better weather. Tuner says the dyno is one of the harsher reading ones (but don't they all lol) Very happy with the drive though it definitely feels like more than 306rwkw that's for sure
  12. yeah 100%. such a great improvement, even just coming on low boost low throttle feels so much more powerful. Sucks me back into my seat much more. I wonder how long it will take before I'm searching for more power haha. fml Only issue I've had is every now and again if I'm hammering it consistently, the DSC error comes up (I assume because the traction control cant handle the power) It goes away once I turn the car on and off, doesn't come up on normal driving though.

  17. It's a stage 1 PW cooler, and a PW turbo side intake/battery relocation. From what I understand (don't rape me if I misunderstood the tuner) its close to 17psi from 0-4500rpm and then 12psi to redline. Would that sound about right? Pics hopefully this afternoon
  18. Hey boys, I've had my XR6 FG Turbo MKII since 2013, got it fresh off the shelf, done 40,000kms now so finally decided to void that warranty and get it in the shop. So I've hit 306rwkw and the mods are as follows; PW Cooler and piping Xcal4 Tune and ZF Tune 1000cc Injectors High flow Cat and Dump pipe Turbo side intake/battery relocation Pretty much the stock standard parts to get to 300+rwkw was tuned by Dynomite in Footscray, very happy with the outcome.
  19. Cat, tune, injectors, PW cooler and pipes, turbo side intake/battery relocation. Love the new power and the new sound. Its like driving a totally different car! Its a FG Turbo MkII and now pulling 306rwkw and 821nm of torque

  21. Its pretty interesting reading many threads and old threads about the mods people have done to their stock FG turbo's and the variety of rwkw that they produce. I guess there's so many variables its hard to predict. I'm doing the basics on Saturday trying to get to 300rwkw, see how we go.

  23. what do the FG's run standard in terms of boost? 8-10 pound? I'm getting my last service with ford tomorrow then I'm booked in for mods the following Saturday. Very exciiiiiteee (Borat voice)

  25. 37 degree day definitely isn't going to help either so you may well produce a fair bit above 300 in ideal temps. Although Brisbane climate is always pretty humid. Congrats either way, not many lions keeping up with that
