OK, here are a couple of Pic of the Front Grill for the BA that I have on mine.

What does everyone think about the Lower front mesh grill available for the BA's. I have seen the FPV grill on an XR8 which looks great but comes with a $500 price tag and a lot of stuffing around as it is designed for the GT Spoiler. It would have been nice for Ford to finish the Job properly and put a grill standard on the XR range.. If anyone has pics of Front Mesh Grills, post them with your reply so we can all see what we think about them... I have an after market mesh grill which cost $75 bucks and took about 45mins to fit. Looks pretty good I think. I will post a pic of it shortly...

I get it from the rear ot\f the car too. If usually happens when the power to the diff is backed off.. Although I don't get it much these days as I have got used to driving the BA. I hope it is not a design fault with the LSD.... My Mechanic said that the LSD's on the BA's he had seen looked like they had really bad backlash, but ford checked it out and said it was well with in limits... I'm not to impressed with the LSD diffs in general... What does everyone else think about them?

hi guys, a friend of mine owns Nowra Hifi and he just brought a xr8 with standard sound because he has been sponsored by alpine to instal a new ba system which is due to be released in March. I'll keep you all informed but from what I have heard it is quite impressive without the big price tag...

My XR6 only has standard sound. Now I have seen the Premium setup, I want it. Mainly just the console as the speakers and amps can come anytime. Are these units interchangable or are more bits needed. If anyone knows costs or locations to get a premium console or something along the same lines I will appriciate any input. from memory, I don't think there is much price difference between slotted and slotted/cross drilled dba rotors. These wer trade prices I was quoted so maybe the shops put more markup on the better discs.

I had uncontrolable break shudder pulling up from 200km/h on conrod straight into the chase after the Bathurst weekend on the Monday morning when they opened the track. I absolutly S*%T myself. All ford did was machine the discs and say "see you in a few months". So they must not be too confident with the new shimming solution they have introduced... Premium Brakes are a little over priced. You can get DBA slotted cross drilled rotors and carbon fibre oversized bendix pads for around $1100 fitted. I'll be getting these when my discs warp again (and again, and again)...

If anyone knows or has info on the series2 BA could you drop me a line as I am just about to upgrade from my XR6NA to XR6T. If there is a six speed manual gearbox in the pipeline, I will wait for that for sure. Thanks Sash
