In my mates Xr5 T, we kept up with a BA xr8 auto last night, yeah I was surprised too! We put a Bmc air filter in and the thing opens up a bit more now, its really fun to drive.

im looking at changing to an aftermarket b.o.v, is there any power increase by doing it?? does the turbo spool up quiker or not?? if anyone has any pics of theirs or what one your using would be great thanks.

Hey Swanga what size tips where they on your XR8 ute??

Has anyone got quad tips on their xr6t ute if so have u got any pics of it?? I just made the spoiler done the cutouts myself and the plastic welding myself I just wanna c how good it will look with 4 exhaust tips or 1 either side? thanks.

hey people what size is the stock exhaust on a XR6 T?. I ask because I was looking at mine since I just got the car recently, it looks 3inch from the turbo then to what looks like a hi flow cat, then into a hi tech stainless rear muffler, I know its from Hi tech mufflers in Sydney cos its stamped in steel on it, is this an ideal setup its very loud deep note, what extra kw's do yous think would of been gained from this?? theres no centre muffler I hear that's a good mod?? thanks regards Joe

yeah the centre muffler is missing.

I picked the car up today, its very loud the exhaust has been touched, I think its a single 3 inch pipe to a muffler then twin 2.5 pipe to twin 2.5 inch tips. its definately louder than a stock T. that's all that has been touched for now but it goes way harder than my old barra xr8.

Hey everyone I just bought a ba xr6 t ute, its only done 26000kms can anyone give me a run down on what mods I should do, such as exhaust systems, airfilters, CAI and anything else you's recommend?? I dont know much about the xr6 turbo's I did have a ba xr8 which seemed easy to mod although cost more to mod than a xr6t. thanks regards Tony
