  1. Cant tag Aaron hench not shredded bloke (@AzMahoony)....but has your beast got 490rwkw now? Was trolling MT fb page today and saw a similar car and remember those glossy lux rims. Must be scary now if it is you...
  2. my major question now is how are you fitting 17x10+38 without hitting bolt or control blade??? lol and like the comment about running 9s 18x9+29 below....I think needs 10mm more poke on front for more flush (that pic is stock height and would tuck a tiny bit depending on how low you went and how much negative camber you wanna run - I stick to OEM with -0.5*). Some are content with a bit of tuck....will look sweet either way. Did they give you any indication on wheel weight and kg load rating? For the coin you're spending, Advan also make quality lightweight forged wheels too hahaha wish I had that budget to play with wheels lol and I hear ya about decisions....you should factor in a few hundred for opticoat or similar...personally im a fan of darker colour wheels so matte grey is my vote. I'd also be doing the typical black/white theme I.e. panda eyes black, rear diffuser black and roof wrapped black.
  3. Lucky mofo. Guess a fancy car deserves fancy rims I was seriously considering the t7r.....in sick kent 19x9.5+15 and 19x10.5+32 and probs just the rears will need a massage lol Assuming you get to choose custom offsets? Dan (stripes) did a group buy on the other forum for forge rims...there were a few decent setups. This one was 19x9 +25 (255/35) and 19x10+43 (295/30)...but needed rear spacer mod apparently (im guessing the 295s might rub control blade). Good luck with choosing
  4. Does anyone have issues with the clips coming out of the carpet over time? I push them into their hole and after a few weeks the pressure of my heel pulls the mat forward and the clips losen out of their holes... Am I the only one having to resecure them every few trips?
  5. Baller offset or safe? Guessing safe cause anti stretch. 19x8.5 +25ish front and 19x9.5 +38ish rear. I personally would go +20 and +35 and run 245/35 and 275/30. If going 10" maybe +38 to +42 and run a 285. I like 18s for wider tyres (can run 285/35 on 9.5" legally) and slightly chunkier profile...but I still have spare 19s for winter lol will eventually sell them one day and go 19x9.5+20 with slightly stretched 245s all round. Also pics when you get them
  6. See.....night cruises are cursed! Or just big cruises anyways
  7. I tried to msg them. No more in stock :( See what they say otherwise might try those gktech ones that many jap cars use (if they make 70.5mm CB). Thanks....also did you even put full car pic in the thread yet?
  8. Oh. Cool thanks for clearing that up for a noob lol I got it clean enough. I'm over it and cbf anymore....but now I know
  9. If that was supposed to say "poured" then no (pretty sure it was there since ive owned it) might be some weird stick on spray that improves contact? If such a product exists? She'll be right. Ill monitor any stalling and then maybe get someone to look at it if it persists.
  10. Quality is good? Gunna order a pair for the front to fix some lame offset on the spare rims. My tyre place said bolt on is perfectly fine for street use. They said torque the nut to the same torque of wheels nuts I.e 125nm. Is that what you did? Cheers
  11. Cleaned those stupid terminals again. Steel wool was a little fine, so just used a butter knife to get the weird yellow stuff off. There was maybe 2 tiny bits on the inside contact part, so doubt its made much difference.
  12. It was one of these POS (dielectric grease apparently).
  13. Well I blatantly admit to zero mechanical skills....so I should get half a point for at least managing to do it myself? Even if it wasnt perfect lol I have this spare from random project....will it suffice? Or will it be too fine [emoji14] (legit question). Nope. In the next 6 months probably if I sell these ones to someone else. Next ones will be keeping for a while I rekon.
  14. Yeh I was in a rush last night and forgot to buy a terminal brush...so I only wiped the insides with a cloth. Maybe that was it.... And yeh the superchump upsold some weird glue stuff to stop the terminals getting "white gunk" (you can see the ohmo fabric ring things in the pic). I'll go buy that brush and do it again. It hasnt stalled since, but could be other unrelated issue. Cheers
  15. Why? Car stalled....never done it before? Any battery I've ever changed has never done it either? I know not same/same but genuinely interested why it did it... And mattyp it wont let me quote in this edit but is century a bad brand? Its brand new with 3yr warranty so cant be terrible? Or can it...
  16. Stupid car battery was dead last night (over the last few weeks noticed it was struggling to turn over). Of course Murphys Law I was about to go out and shes dead. Supercrap was the only one open so got a century 620cca. Put her in and here's a pic just cause. Now it was all sweet for about 10mins then the car randomly stalled at a stop sign on a slight incline? I notice the revs sometimes dips I.e. when coming to a stop suddenly. Is my zf or something relearning the way I drive? Anyone else have their car stall after new battery?
  17. I'm not selling the pair, nor do I know the bloke who is? I was merely letting peeps on here know in case they wanted some....I couldn't give a rip if they sell or not Im sure Phil (taxi) would have seen them as hes a gumtree guy......but if need more info then HE can pm ME if HE wants the link (but obviously all these rich FIFO blokes around here have enough cash to avoid 2nd hand consumables hahaha).
  18. the 'turbo' part should mean its the 322mm. DBA must be lazy cause think the 298mm would be for G6E and XR6, XT, etc. I.e. NON TURBO varients
  19. Any brembo peeps after some used t3s...theres a front pair on gumtree. Was gunna buy and machine in the off chance I get 6 or 4 pots one day, but too lazy to go and measure them (and for the price im guessing either they have deep scratches that cant be machined, or they are too thin). Im guessing the guy doesnt know what he has or hes hiding a secret, cause only wants $40 the pair lol. Could be a score for someone, or could be a waste of time. Also spotted a black mustang GT on the way home. Lines look pretty nice up close...
  20. you know what, ill make it for when I get home
  21. Yeh me too man....ive tried a couple decent suspension shops too and no one can see anything wrong.
