  1. It will be pretty close (depends on profile/stretch on the tyres too). This is FG with 18x9.5+20 (so youll have like 7mm space before it hits)... has no tyre on first pic but 2nd has 265/35/18....but I think 245/35/19 will be close. Cant guarantee it wont rub....but should be ok on FG (I read somehow others have fit 18x9.5 +35 and they said no rubbing apparently? Even though that would leave 2mm space from hitting arm). The SSSL part might be bad, cause think tyre tucks more when lowered (my pics are at standard height).
  2. 20s should be a little harsher. I notice the difference going from 18s to my 19" twisites.....so figure you'll notice the same amount going to 20s.
  3. Wont be huge front gap....it will still sit better than oem rims (should move 10mm further out according to calculator)
  4. I'm glad to be in WA for once. Above fine would only be $200 and 2 points [emoji14]
  5. Easier way....the lower the number the more it pokes [emoji14] Thought I'd let ^^^this guy^^^ take over the ropes for a while
  6. Surgery sucks. Hope it all goes well though!
  7. Ummmm.....no Phil [emoji14] Yeh saw that group of pics on fagbook. Laughed at the snow tyre one lol Also cheers for taking the time to reply I wish I could learn to do stuff myself...I just know I'll make a mistake or stuff something up and I'm not willing to take the risk. But at least you've given me some good indications
  8. Yeh didn't really think about that :/ If no one else can give rough indications, I will just update later for myself when I chat to Ford at the next service (or I'll email him before then). At least that way I would have the recommended intervals which can change slightly depending on how harsh you are on the car
  9. One of the big boys. Website seems to be down atm? http://www.atomicperformanceproducts.com/998gta_short.html
  10. Thought I'd start a thread to get some opinions on how frequently you maintain your turbz. Obviously everyone would have slightly differing opinions, but would be interesting to see how often 'maintenance' items are being done. It would be good to know the Ford recommended intervals and then the 'tuned car' intervals. Here's my list so far: (if I have missed other important things, let me know!) Power Steering Fluid Diff Oil Coolant Flush Brake Fluid Flush ZF Transmission Service (Genuine Lifeguard 6) Throttle Body Clean Injector Clean (On car - injectors + fuel rail) Timing chain/ plastic retainers (NFI if that's correct terminology)Here's my car so far (stock - 136,000kms (owned since 83,000km)): Once @ 90k (been lazy but assume should be every 2 yr/40,000km) Once @ 90k (again unsure but some do every 10k but guessing Ford would say every 2 yr/40,000km) Once @ 90k (assume 3yr/60,000km) 3 times so far (assume its 2yr/40,000km) Once @ 90k (plan on doing it every 50k km) Once @ 90k (unsure how often it should be?) Once @ 110k (assume this is every 3yrs/50,000km) Never yet - although heard the plastic retainers should be every 5yr/100k and chain every 10yr/200k? Obviously haven't included things like minor service, wheel alignment, boost solenoid, earls filter (as these happen every service)....just would like to know any other maintenance things that should be done?
  11. Love Bionic.....its like Nitro Blue's big brother! lol Colour coded rocker covers are fun Looks good!
  12. Pfft......never even offered your garage EVER.... Not many jobs I can think of now to do anyways....but maybe one day
  13. nah we budz....we clearly have different opinions on being owneddd this thread will be deleted probs......soooooooo boobs what happens if I put actual boobs? 25%
  14. dumb dumb Mdogg ^^^ Pretty sure this guy (OP) double posted and you've now replied to his tapatalk 2nd thread where's a good mod when you need one....geeeez lol http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/91438-fg-mk1-vs-mk2/ same/same is same ...
  15. Yeh heard the Plaz ones weren't very good....theres the proof! lol
  16. Pretty sure BA FPV Typhoon rims.... 18"Edit: everyone posting quickly lol
  17. Guessing its bottom end spool that makes a quick street car I.e. up to 140ish km/h. After those speeds is where the bigger turbos start closing the gap. No one seems to "race" these days....because of the reasons you posted above. Its just P platers who love to try and hand out the chops lol Only guy I've read who is using this to its full potential on the streets is Bizkets (and Don I suppose too lol)
  18. Should just be standard brembo stuff? I.e. 4 pots front with standard lines/pads/rotors (with the pbr single pot rears - 328mm) I've never seen the 6/4 combo on cop cars? Would be interesting to know for sure if they upgrade lines and pads too...
  19. Elaborate on this when you have time? Would like to know which brands are all selling the same springs....?
  20. True....that was at 22 so ill stick to 20 then lol I was told just adding a 5 channel amp to pump all the speakers + sub would be an ok improvement (guy was saying just giving them more power will help)....but would that make them 'bottom out' or am I saying something dumb again [emoji14]
  21. Why scrimp on valve springs? Pretty sure Monsta Torque uses Crow....that's what I'll be going with and only $70 more? Would suck to do the job all over again if they don't perform as good :/
  22. Reversed the sub polarity...only took me 30mins cause NFI how to remove 'connector catches' lol Fully hektic beats....now sh*t moves on it own in the mirror [emoji14] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZScDrH6r-s
