  1. Looking good man! Is my brain playing tricks on me or is the left 2 exhaust pipes slightly larger than the right 2? Also are you painting the rear brembos blue or front ones black? Hope its the latter [emoji14]
  2. They looked wider in the pics lol I'll have to PM you later regarding "correct car setup and correct tyres"
  3. What size tyres? I found 265s on the front were rough, noisy, and tramlined (is that the word?)
  4. Happy that I found a decent set of jap rims to trade. Wont be everyones cup of tea, but at least its genuine jap quality goodness [emoji14] And MattyP I keep 2 sets of rims cause im crazy. The twisties are my winter rims (with Goodyear EF1A2'S) and a set of 18s for summer and extra width on the rear (and stickier 285s are the plan later).
  5. It will be 2mm inwards than the OEM rims. (Or 1.5mm really)
  6. I like the last part of your post OP Good luck and hopefully it goes to plan with good results!
  7. Yeh drift kents use them too and they go harder than I ever would. Do you know what torque to set the nuts to? Same as normal wheel nuts or just tighten til they dont move no more...
  8. Is that what the mrs says about your peen? [emoji14] Also did you buy that smelly BOV? Sold my ghey plazmaman one for $125 posted..
  9. Yeh obviously that is the perfect scenario. But I have read that most seem 50/50 on the whole concept. With many people still claiming BOLT ON spacers are perfectly fine if they are torqued up to correct specs. I assumed Ayden may have consulted with Wiggum just to confirm all good? (Or maybe he already knows the answer cause mechanic bloke I think?). The fronts im looking at might be a gay +38 and with a 20mm bolt on....the +18 will look more flush. On second hand market its often hard to find a set with semi aggressive fronts and tame rear. Edit: just realised you said spacers are bad up front lol. You sure about the bolt on spacers too? I know slip on ones are frowned upon (especially if you dont get longer studs).
  10. Dont be jelly that my white wheels look better than yours [emoji14] And tune next year for sure...
  11. Just for you: I want summer rims and winter rims. For me personally, id rather run tamer offset with fatter tyres than jap spec skinny tires over fat rims. I dont see a point of having a 2nd set if the rears arent at least 265s [emoji14] Also this made me feel good....only had time to do the rears this arvo. No abs faults or anything weird so far. Just thought it looked funny lol also might be negotiating for genuine jap rims trade (sensible offset) for my rotas. They are work cr kai if anyone cares lol (think few people on here may have had them in the past).
  12. Hey ayden, do you have a link or brand name for the spacers you're using? Thinking about using them on fronts for some rims im considering... Why not run bolt ons all round? Cheers
  13. Yeh but I thought I read the integrity of rim can be impacted? They are just sh*tty rotas....with awesome jap stickers [emoji14] would rather source genuine jap rims or something lighter, miss that feeling lol Might look into it though....cause a lot of people lately been digging the white...
  14. Yeh tim....just a quick pic before driving into the driveway. And cheers for the kind words barnz, I only have black parts cause eventually doing roof, bootlid shroud, door handles, mirrors in gloss black wrap and throw my black spoiler on. Ive always been a fan of the nitro/black combo [emoji14] But very easy to go safe offset and plastidip white, or get another set of white rims lol could shave a few mm off, but just easier to go the safer +35 and put 275s or 285s with a 10" No rush atm....enjoying driving slow for once [emoji14]
  15. Yeh its the angle of driveway too....but I want the front slightly higher than rear. Gets rid of forward rake. And yeh keif....all the more reason to find a more sensible wheel offset choice. Least I know the OEM rims will be fine
  16. Assume that's a typo and supposed to be 30 profile rears [emoji14] And yeh just got my suspension done today. SSL/SSSL with 18x9.5+20 and 245/40/18 + 265/35/18. Unfortunately rear scrapes when going hard, so will source less agressive rims soon. Could prob go skinnier rear tyres and a roll; but im about max tyre width and cbf right now lol Already posted pics in WMYFGT thread. But heres one for the sake of it...
  17. Guess im a soft ohmo then fluff :( lol Pretty happy so far....most big bumps feel softer, although on rough roads its a little bumpier. But easily liveable. But gayness = rear tyres rubbing on hard cornering So ill probs chuck the 19" twisties back on and search for less agressive rims Sensible dailyish height...2 fingers in the front, 1.5 in the back. Heres some quick pics if anyone cares [emoji14]
  18. Nah I trust these kents. Been doing right by me for the last year so all good. Plus first job of the day; so should be fine [emoji14] And yep....look forward to a testing this arvo
  19. Lol.....you dont know me too well [emoji14] Definitely shop. They just putting my billys and kings springs. If they have time they will change the rear d bushes in my whiteline swaybar too. Hopefully all goes good....they been sitting in my spare parts area for probs close to a year. So definitely looking forward to it
  20. Yay suspension day! Lol should hopefully feel even better this arvo after a thrashing
  21. Lol....just roll and bump into her. She'll get over it [emoji14] pretty sure I accidently smacked my mrs in the face once during sleep lol And yeh ice cream was dope. We were hell fatties....bought 2 cones for the trip back to abbey beach and then a tub each cause awesomeness.
  22. Are you saying without stilnox you cannot go to bed even when you're by yourself? that's crazy dependence if so :/ Or is sleeping with the mrs the only time you cannot sleep? Which would have some sort of psychological reasoning I.e. scared to fart on her, scared of snoring in her face, scared of her judging your sleep face lol Also simmo's ice cream
  23. ^^ What?? Thought that was only if your arm protudes further than your mirror?
  24. 17s will be 45 profile pretty sure. So on most AU+ Ford rims they are mainly 8" wide and have either 235 or 245s. Guessing your current rims have 245/45/17 tyres....and therefore pretty sure the best 19" with similar rolling diameter would be 245/35/19
