Yeh I meant remove the screen. I thought that was part of the install process....I will look at instructions later to see if that was one of the steps. If you dont remove the screen, does that mean that I may as well have the oem filter in place....as there would still be a chance the turbo can starve if the screen is there? Or if the filter is decent, then it will catch any gunk before it hits the screen?

Now im scared that Ford never did that.....surely that would be in the install instructions right?

Edit: what barnz said above...pretty sure someone got in trouble here for that laser jammer...might have been kjoy? Don't recall the outcome though Yeh I bought a sh*tty radar dectector (RX65 which guy said was recalibrated last month)....so far just likes to beep at every traffic camera (and the usual petrol station, etc). Still haven't tested it properly past an actual laser....he said it will give a little warning, but not enough if you're hell hooning lol but yeh as you said Phil, no rear warning....personally...since they are legal still in WA (I think?) It kinda makes the car look a little undercover cop....people seem to move out the way a lot more now hahahah Oh and I will legit take you up on that offer one day Phil....loaded up tomtom sounds sick lol

I was told to upgrade injectors even for 300ish....which your mild tune will easily surpass... If you can, id save the extra 600 and just do it now...get max benefits from that tune. Should get another $100-$150 for your old injectors too lol But depends what rob says....he might be happy to lean on them a bit. But I personally would just pay the little bit more or delay the tune until I had the funds.

Yeh I haven't looked at that particular model....but im sure its worth more than 13k to a PRIVATE buyer. I will never sell to a car yard....unless they significantly reduce the price of the car I'd be upgrading to

Also you fellas know about the boost wastegate solenoid maintenance thing? I think theres a thread somewhere; but basically clean out the hoses that connect into the solenoid (pretty sure you just use wd40). I do it every 6 month service... Dunno how much gunk comes out or whether its all placebo, but my car always boosts good straight after the service (and stays that way for a few months)

Sounds like selling and that's pretty average price last time I checked? Thought they were still in the 18-24k range? But assume that's a dealer trade in price...

Why pitlane vs. Nizpoo? Price only? Are they cheaper or similar price to the zf flexplates? Think my FG one was around low $300ish...

Maybe you stick a pressure gauge in one hole then airpump on other to get super accurate readings hahaha

212,000kms guys.....be realistic...most people will not even look at cars over 100,000kms let alone 200K. And its NSW....most cars are cheaper over that side. It will need to be cheap AF to even tickle peoples interest....full service history too? I think 5-6k will be the selling price....obviously advertise for 8-9k ONO

so what are ya GUNNA do?? Will the ute + engine go into storage and youll bring that hz and put that in the garage? Was the HZ in storage? Sad to see it being put on hold, but that is life sometimes so just do what you need to do

Also coil packs you replaced are new GENUINE ones yeh? Car is stock? I.e. not tuned? Cause if tuned and replacing plugs, they need to be gapped properly (0.7 or 0.8 instead of usual 1.1) Other than that....I have NFI unfortunately....hope its a simple fix! (Update the tread once you find out) ?

I would guess it might be the series 2 (upgraded r34 engine). Way better economy and gearbox. Also I never got to tune mine....s1 is slow as in stock spec (auto r33 skyline in a 1750kg body). Was fun trying to find parts lol its a what? I feel one day ill buy another one...but only once someone has sunken stupid amounts into it (manual 260RS version with forged + paintjob) hahaha

Maybe a reputable Ford tuner in your area could look into it? Or is it one of those things that doesn't always happen on command? I have no idea....but am watching
