  1. Are they not just rota grids? Pretty sure the sydney dealer should be listed on rota website? For WA, most 18" rota sets (especially the older designs) are only 1k for a set of 4. Only sucky thing would be you'd have to buy a pair cause dont think they do singles....but at least that way you would have a set of 5 and one spare cracked wheel lol and only be in it for $550 plus whatever tyres you have... Rota Dealer: NEW SOUTH WALES Play Racing and Development Unit 10, 21-23 Bay Road Taren Point NSW 2229 Tel: (02) 9540 9500 Email: jt.mechanical@hotmail.com
  2. Oh man....the awkwardness of that situation
  3. Not good @Ezy2Confuze (forgot your name sorry lol) ... hope the docs can figure out the issue quickly! In terms of cruise....I'm 50/50 at this stage. Some of yous know how I feel about night cruises....but just depends on the definite date and whether I have cash to waste on fuel or not
  4. T7R FTW....I actually wanted those, but got a couple others I might consider one day around same prices. @Tocchi used to run these as track wheels? but nitro blue looking colour? or maybe his were the XT7?
  5. 8.5 +15 will not poke more than yours ralph.....it will tuck in 6mm (if I recall yours were 9.5 +22 ?) OP it should be pretty decently flush and goddam wish I had mates who sold wheels for $50 per set lol Pretty sure it will be $250 max cost to replace your one "te37sl copy" aka. rota grids? if they still make it in that size/offset (and if you have a cheap dealer in your state I.e. Vision R equivalent). Repair again varies greatly, for us the main mob here like to charge $120-150 per crack (if they are decent sizes) .....about the same price again if they find any buckles....then paint on top of that! so always easier to buy a new rim @ roughly $250 each. Pics when you get it sorted too! lol
  6. Fair movement in this thread.. Here is the one pic I got of us waiting for boosty mc boost guy lol Was a very fun cruise....even though hoon boys out front were going nuts. I think I stayed close enough even for stockness
  7. Yeh but how does the gun get mud in it? I only use the gun thing. The brush I used once on my sh*tty daily (and only on the wheels lol). I just dont see how a high pressure hose will leave scratch marks?
  8. Is this from using that soapy broom thing?
  9. haha. I wish I was stance kid. that's when sh*t gets technical...Im all about using small rims with safe offsets and putting the widest tyres I can form over function I think is the saying? I never really got the whole super stretched/ mexican look....makes it easier to kerb rash, chew through tyres cause most of the time needing bulk camber to 'fit' and its just spastic I.e. spend a bunch of money massaging the car to fit some 11" or 12" rims just for bragging rights? Passssss
  10. Sure this is an awesome thread....will be reading later! Wasn't there an actual epic mine a few weeks back....like a 10yr old thread lol But seeing as @MrBean hasn't logged on in over 3.5yrs.....I wouldn't be holding your breathe @Stoney85
  11. You never know....you might get some noob wrecker who sells it separately lol I've seen whole doors go for like $50 each....worst case you can have 2 spare doors hahahaha
  12. Pretty sure matty was meant to quote my post? To everyone who keeps saying I need a tune instead of wheels....
  13. Yeh I meant 2nd handy. Theres buttloads of standard FGs being wrecked. Hit up a private wrecker bloke and im sure they'd give you those peices for like $50 tops...? Only really worth it if you can install it yourself though...
  14. No good man! People are such scum..... Just sucks that the G6 and G6E is a fairly rare car to be wrecking :/ I'd be whacking on some standard ones in the time being? surely those will be cheap temporary solution...
  15. 4lyf matty lol Those are back up wheels. In case these other ones ive got doesn't suit the falcoon[emoji14] Nothing better on our fat cars than a simple 5 spoke wheel imo
  16. Weeeeeeeeee Boring offset but will be coloured in soonish Also did lol at the centrecaps. Think ill remove them myself before any tyre balances.
  17. Lol....my offset guessing is on point today and yeh $120 is cheap....I was looking at advan centrecaps and they seem to be the $220+ region (think theres a local guy here who does them slightly cheaper, but guessing it wont be by much). And yeh love the ol nitro....especially on a darkish rainy day....the blue looks killer in lowlight with water beads lol Good luck with the brembo fitment....update if it clears!
  18. what offsets? guessing either +38 or +32 (leaning more towards the first one). but yeh test fit over some brembos would be the easiest option. When I had the BA XR8 rims, I measured to see how big the gap was. It was around 60 or 65mm from highest points of caliper to the back of spokes (pissed cause I lost the exact measurements when my old phone was wiped). Also like the nitro one in the background lol
  19. Which ones is the good Pzero? I feel like theres 2 different types....Pzero Nero then Pzero Nero MO or something? You should be trying the re003 like I did plus buy 3 get 4th free and they are nice and sticky (not as good wet weather like the goodyears I had, but decent enough if you're not being dumb in the wet). Paid $855 fitted (Bob Jane Morley)
  20. Lol too slow. Didnt need em but would have happily taken
  21. ahhh...roger that...Nah I just always wanted to try them as the re002 had a good rep too. I think I did good cause I did one of those 4th tyre free at Bob Ghey Tmarts. $855 for 4 in a 245/35/19 would have tried invos but savings were too good lol
