juz wanted to ask theres a problem that I have been havin whenever I floor the car in the first and third gear when its about to peak out, the car starts back firing and shakes but when I step off the gas for a sec, it recovers. I thought that this could be either the injectors or the fuel pump which I am upgrading in the weekend. Do you guys agree that this is a injector problem? if not please explain wat this could be?? my car is under work for the intercooler, injectors,dump pipe, high cat fuel pump, CAI, BMC filter and spring valves. please give me some advise on this prob and if it has happened to ne one else>?? cheers muzza p.s juz wanna say that this shaking and back firing is well before the rev stricter.

I see wat u mean, but as far I am aware they only come in the chrome and hyper black but u never know they could also make it in the normal alloy finish. u should have asked that place u called if they did come in that finish. their price is reasonable but about 200 more then that websites but considering the freight and all there the same I suppose. let us know wat happens cheers muzza

Always used bp ultimate since I have had the car, even though the fuel prices have sky rocketed I sticked to this fuel. but it really makes u think if its worth it?? I think it is. cheers muzza

Although I have had my set of problems with my car such as oil leaks, driveline vibration, A/C goin on and off by it self which is weird. I havent personally had this problem or even heard ne one having this same problem. a lil while bac there was a topic about people havin problems with their T's and wat it was. I am certain no one mentioned ne problem with their traction. I do think that u should keep reporting this problem to ford even though they dont seem to find ne thing wrong with it, juz for later because my ford dealer told me to do the same with my A/C prob. ne ways good luck with it and keep us posted muzza

yeah I kept mine off since I got pulled over a few months back with a $100 fine and 1 point. the police officers said that u can only have one pair of lights on at a time unless its foggy. muzza

ok personally I think that this can and cant compare this car to that is bull. topgear and many other shows and megazines have compared lower class cars with others such as the skyline gtr with a diablo so I dont think that makes me the first. back to your advise of tryin the other cars and learning wat its all about I have driven a fullly modded GTR with around 450rwkw and also for your info my cousin in the states owns a enzo so I know wat I am talkin about because I been in it. its not that I cant afford a enzo or a GTR and I didnt buy my T because of the price tag I bought it because I love my aussie cars. dont mean to bragg, but to make it clear for u not to judge a book by its cover if I am drivin a XR6 turbo doesnt mean I cant afford the others, and many people I know are the same. and u saying living with my parents in their big house please dont think of everyone like your self. it shows you how smart is our goverment. like you said anything with turbo, does not matter if it is nissen patrol or skyline. p are left with bicycle, that's if the makers did not use turbo in the marketing. for example, when they say it is as fast as a turbo, lolllllllllllllllllll

So going by this because the T is cheaper and can be modded to go faster IN A STRAIGHT LINE it makes it the best car in the world? Get over yourself. The Ferrari Enzo and Porsche Carrera GT cost more then most peoples houses, even 2 or 3 times the price of their houses. They only run low to mid 11's in the ¼ so they are crap because a modded T could beat it? Why not buy a old mazda, dump a big HP rotor in it and it willbe quicker then a T for a lot cheaper? Makes it a better car? A better buy? NO OF COURSE NOT! It takes more then a quick ¼ mile time to be a sports car, it requires braking, turning... Yes a sports car needs the complete package. The T WILL NEVER match any real sports car like a GT-R or Ferrari in this because of one major thing. Its weight. the T is a TANK! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mate, let me make it simple for you, for an 2003 enzo cost around au$850 k, give me 200k of that, and I will give you a T that can do a circuit lap faster then a enzo. plus you only can set 2 people in a enzo, also you have to be under 80 kg to fit in a enzo. only thing that makes a enzo expensive is the tag. and they only make so many of them. now coming back to GTR, do u seriously think that it is the best sport car in the world for that money. like those gentlemen said that gtr z tune cost around 220k, give me half of that, and I will you T with same spec. also an enzo weight about 3230 lbs another thing a Skyline GTR 2002 R34 Nur weight about 3968 IBS and the T weight about 3800 lbs. The Nur (Nürburgring) edition is the final edition of the R34 Skyline GT-R. It features a racing version of the Inline-6 that will push upwards of 450 horsepower when unrestricted. Only 1000 were made so here we go for your weight problem, Skyline GTR 2002 R34 Nur weight is heavier then the T. so if you are paying that extra just for the traction and suspension, then it is not worth it mate, spend that much on Your T, you will have much better result. yeah, as said that a enzo cost 2 to 3 times some people's house, it just depends where you live. I think one point we r missing here is that there are no stories here of ne one runing against a real gtr, and I havent heard about ne gtr's pulling against a real modded on road T like geea's so he could have taught them a lesson. plus how many 9 sec gtr's have u's seen onroad?? Another point how much would u pay to get a 10 sec gtr compare to a well look aftered 10 sec T like geea's for aroound 55k. so u can use it as both family and sports car. like I said before bring ne gtr and put 3 people in it and also take a 10 sec T and put the same many people than tell me wat the outcome is gonna be?

yeah the gt-r had about 10 grand worth of mods though, I dont know what they were but the thing was extremely quick, mid 12's. They had a R34 GT-R compared with a VX GTS ages ago in wheels mag, abit of a better comparison I guess, it pulled a 13.5 quater if im not mistaken.. but for little money, the thing has huge potential. It's already amazingly quick but the bloody Jap government had to put a power restriction of 206kw people still reckon that they come stock with around 270, but who knows. PS. Mods included little engine work, and HUGEEE breaks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well I dont care I just crapped on a black skyline in frankston at 7.20pm frankston flinders lights and loved it it wasnt a GTR but still had work on it, I love my new Edit 3 277rwkw Bullet <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well done mate,

I put some federals on my 18's 2 weeks ago mmm cheap and grippy to. treadwear rating is 240 ( softer than dunlops=more grip less life ) and traction is ofcoarse AA temp is A And they are 40% cheaper than the originals! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> so you guys are saying that federals are better choice? right
