Ihave got 17's and my budget around $350,as long as the tyre grips good with that power, and have good treadwear. I have searched for topics regarding this but all the topics that I have read from previous, the members havent mentioned if their cars are modded or standard except for DR Z which I think said 277rwkw with the michellins. So I dont want to buy a tyre that will be the same as the dunlops I am running now. thankz muzza

Which of the above tyres have you used or know would suit best for 330rwkw or more. I am thinking of getting either the Yokohama or the Nitto's but want some thoughts from the members here. all comments and advises are greatly aprreciated. thankz muzza

ohh remembering now did have I chat with another Ford owner about the mods in my car and he was telling me about his daugther that drags at the PLEX. nice bloke but I dont thiink he will be on here I do remeber another XR6 but I couldnt tell if was a turbo cuz it was far away SILVER COLOUR was that your self?? neways wat are the mods in your car if u dont mind me asking?? muzza

mate, I have the following done to it. valve springs injectors fuel pump hi cat dump intercooler inlet pod k&N filter bov custom exhust( soon to be done) xtremely tuned by simon from xtreme ford tuning and now we are looking at the engine internals. cheers

HEY GUYS JUST GOT MY CAR BACK FROM MY BUDDY SIMON YESTERDAY, still have to get the dump, hi cat and the custom exhaust fitted plus simon xtreme dyno tune. he just load a basic tune in it for time being. hopefully we will get the exhaust and tune done 2morrow or by the end of the week. but even with the Dtune, I give it half throttle and the car goes side ways cuz of the enormous power been delivered. I have to get some serious tyres for it, like the NITTO 555r's like geea was talking about. I am putting some pic for you guys for now, and I have some video of the car runnig but I will put them up soon. also will update you guys with the dyno figures soon. very excellent job done by simon, and still going to do rest. my personally opinion is that he is the best in the country, he is one of the best for sure in anyones opinion. also dicussed it with simon, about running our cars at the PLEX, we should be doing that in couple of weeks. will advise of 1/4 times. cheers muzza

na mate, have not got the trans modded yet, simon said don't need to get it modded now. cuz now with new version of the software. u get more of out of your trans. hopefully the trans will not give me anyproblem. but what do u think,. also mate do u know how much slick will cost me. thanks

ohh mate, I have done quite few things to it. I will upload pic soon, my tuner said I should pull about 330rwkws. and about 750 to 800 nm torque. but I am waiting for a k & n pod filter to get my car 2morrow. but I don't know where to get it. thanks anyways :
