worked over on phillip island today the place is full of gt's and gtp's sedans and utes. some lovely cars.

have spoken to at least six xr owners and they are up for it at the moment. see what happens on the day.

has anybody had problem with there de mister not working, heat or cool will only come out of face vents. can not change directional air supply. spoke to ford and they say that the dash has to come out $50.00 part $450.00 labour. any you guys any ideas.

to short notice worked the weekend so the boss has givin me the day off might take a run down to fountain gate anybody else got monday off

I removed my spoiler as it was cracked got four plastic interior gromets from ford and painted them the same colour as ute and just pushed them in looks not to bad until I can think of something better.

yep same here my dad bought me the one I stilll have for my first car when I lived in scotland have been drivin with mine for about 34 years. starting to get a bit faded but cant part with it.

the st christopher is my good luck and safe driving medallion that was well spotted.

ya I thought about doing the seats but changed my mind thought it might be to much yellow, the seats have yellow stitching on them.

no always drivin fords. so why do you ask that ?

have been reading some of the topics here about fuel so I thought I would ask a question. when you say you have had your car tuned to run on 98 fuel whos is it that tunes to this, as I have been to my local ford dealer and he has put the laptop computer on to the car and there is no fuel option. as when I run 98 the ute idles up and down, and tacho goes to red line before going into limp mode. so I am trying to find out why other xr owners can run this fuel when I cant. somebody mentioned that you can disconnect the battery to start with the new fuel.
