The stuff about the suburb is true, unfortunately that effects the premium. Im 25 and insured with CGU and pay $760, unfortunatly that's only cause im staff and my last day is today so on renewal it will be $1300. I think I will go back to RACV who I was with before, cost me $1100 odd through them last year.

Get insurance quotes as well before you even consider it, I think you'll find it will be a big difference in premium and a lot of companies wont touch the car at all due to it being a grey import.

Good looking pups mate! My little fella has just turned 3 and he is the best mate a guy can ask for, he follows me around the backyard and has to "help" out with anything he see's happening. Unfortunately "help" generally means get in the way lol. He also like to eat basketballs, footballs and tennis balls. Ive actually seen him bite tennis balls in half and swallow them, the footy's and basketballs he generally just tears apart after about a week but I'll never get tired of watching him throw them around the back yard and playing tug of war. Im also interested, I just went over 90,000kms and called Westpoint Ford to price the service. They quoted $350, which is a bit of a price difference. A friend who used to be a Ford mechanic claims that they could try to hit me up for as much as $650 depending on what they need to do?

Ive got one with Tony Hawk's Wasteland, Need For Speed: Most Wanted, GUN, and Battlefield 2. Its definately a good system but I dont play it much. Would probably sell it if I had a good offer.

I just ran out of warranty :( I need to get the squeek in my seat fixed too. Plus with my local dealer you would need to book a week in advance to get a headlight changed lol.

Hi guys, Im just curious as to whether anyone can recommend a good ford dealer for servicing etc in the western suburbs. My local dealer is renowned for poor service as well as charging more than double what any other mechanic would charge for the same work. They also have over a 2 week waiting list for servicing. Can anyone recommend a dealer that can provide genuine Ford servicing at a reasonable cost with good customer service?

Hey guys, Ive had my T for a bit over a year now and im starting to look at personalising it a bit. Ive just had aumatt do some illuminated switched for me which are great. Im just wondering if anyone else has any suggestions for small mods like this that can be done for either interior/exterior changes or other small things for mechanical changes and small/basic performance increases? Ive managed to allocate around $100 a fortnight to be spent on the car and while I know its not alot by some peoples books, its all the budget will allow at the moment lol. So if you guys have any suggestions, I'd be wrapped to hear them! Cheers, Brad

I had to change that side a few months ago, fat fingers dont help lol. I just blew my drivers side headlight and was not even interested in trying to pull out the battery box to get to it. I just booked it into the local Bridgestone and got them to replace both parkers and both low beam bulbs, cost me $40 which ill gladly pay to save the hassle of doing it myself.

Hey Guys, My drivers seat has developed a squeek/creak sound. Has this happened to anyone else? Im looking to pinpoint the problem so I can take it straight to Ford to be fixed with minimal stuffing around. Cheers guys,

Hey Guys, another HgAg owner here! (even though ive got no idea what HgAg means but everyone keeps referring to it lol) Im after a colour that will either stand out of compliment Mercury Silver. The exterior of my XR6T is Merc. and I am trying to think of a colour for interior highlights, painting underbonnet components, brake calipers etc that will look really good alongside the Mercury Silver and hopefully stand out. Ive thought about Phantom purple or maybe Carbon Fibre, what do you guys think? I want to stay away from the traditional red and blue's. Cheers for any input you might have guys! Brad

Hey guys, Im looking for a few small/easy to do things for my new XR6T that will be nice an cheap to keep me going while I save up for the big mods. Ive got the info on the second CAI but im after more info on cheap little mods that will either give me a small performance/economy etc. increase or small things that will make the car look a bit better. Ive also got details on adding footwell lights (I have premium sound) and its little things like these that im interested in. Cheers guys! Brad

A little more info would help.. Like age, no claim bonus, area you live in? Im 27 and my T costs $1061 a year, rating 1 for life with RACV. Garaged in Edithvale with a value of $55k (XR6T MkII 6 speed + leather + sunroof + prem sound) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 23, about to turn 24 and rating 1 with RACV. Vehicle garaged in Hoppers Crossing.

Im 23 and my T is costing me around $1,100 a year through RACV. Very good price compared to other quotes I recieved.
