The two front cameras cover front of house and road out the front of house footage also covers half way up the driveway of the house over the road lucky for them.I have no problem with CCTV I wish I had neighbors with cameras on my house it would be great if half the street had them then any break in in the street would be easy to solve. This is a good area too but on the Gold Coast break inns happen anywhere. I did high end Security control room for 8 years so that's why I wanted them in my house I know how usefull they can be.

Width range is good covers around 140 degrees my Pacom system only has a two stage zoom x2 or x4 The picture quality is a little pixelated on x2 zoom and no better on x4 zoom but don't use the zoom. Ahh how nice would that be, just need a crop to pay for it. :-) Analogue cameras motion detection the digital ones are way too expensive for home operation. I carnt see the need when you can get 670 lines and perfect picture quality with analogue. Digital is only really good for security use as you have a much better zoom operation with them but you would be using PTZ and have someone full time monitoring the system.

Good system and good price. I run a Pacom 8ch dvr system with Samsung CCTV Cameras and UPS back up power. Great night vision and holds recordings for up to a month. I run two monitors one with the system and a wall mount in the bedroom so if you hear a commotion out side at night you don't have to get up to see what's going on. System covers all areas around the house.
