u have to follow it round, its not that expensive as its tasmania, and accomadation is cheap in most towns and the scenery is the best in the country! my uncle runs the towing company responsibe for the event pages towing or sumthing like that, my cousin loves it, andf they have seen many a nice vehicle wrote off and had to tow it home!

McLoughlin (Qld) Hyundai Tiburon 33-min 27-secs 66. S. Richards-J. Cole (Vic) V8 Expensive Daewoo Monaro 4-hr 3-mins 53-secs these are 2002 placings im sure. let me know if not. either way that's sum stiff competition for top 10,we all love these cars but if a stock T can keep up wif 911, gtrs, evo's and the like thru the twisties and place in the top 10 ill bare my arse, u must remember that the monaro brock drove was seriously modded "Modifications to the Monaros will include installing roll cages, Headers exhaust, fine-tuning engine calibration, newly-designed Harrop brakes, Momo seats, revised suspension, and they will be fitted with Bridgestone Potenza RE54OS tyres." Expensive Daewoo would not give up engine specs for sum reason, though obviously it must have been a bit of a jump above stock specs to place so highly against such other powerful cars and the hyundai had had sum work done as well. also targa is a bas*ard of a rally weather and road wise, thus y u c highly place AWD's. but good luck to em, Targa tasmania is an awesome race, I used to love watching it come through my home town :grininvasion:

oh god I have all this ahead of me, seeing as though im studying Network engineeering. oh well things could be worse, I could have to go home and live with these people
  17. pft, who cares? u shell out the cash for the car u do wat u want to it, each to his/her own. wat ever gets your rocks off, etc. u never know guys these cars may be the next phase 3, and all the stockies could be worth heaps in mint condition. then again they are a mass produced car and as such this is very unlikely for at least another 20-30 yrs until a fair few have died and gone to muscle car heaven...
  18. I have started sumthing here, oh well. melbourne roads are very dodgy in deed, trams are a pain in the arse and if your more than 3k's over the limit your gunna get fined! my mate just payed $175 for being 4k's over the speed limit.....
  19. yer there is, but I was mainly commenting on the use of horns up there. at just about every set of lights if ppl werent taking of and moving as the lights went green then beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. ppl were in such a rush up there. I must say the cabbies are better up there, it was like 17.05 for the trip and he gave back the 5 cents, in melb he would have rounded it up to $20.00
  20. just got back last night was there all day fri and all sat. I stayed at the hotel that was previously called the furama. there are heaps more vy's on sydneys roads than here in melbourne, I was stunned by the ammount of au fairlane taxi's, there. u r all lunatic drivers, road rage is very high there. lancers were the most common choice of rice burners, your train link from the airport to central station is a joke, $11 each. or $18 all up for me and a mate in a taxi to the hotel door. sydney airports (domestic) security makes melbournes look like the local airport in an outback town of 300 people. your nightlife rocks, with so many great pubs everywhere in the cbd our fav being sports central at fox studio's ( sport/alcohol lovers heaven ). the cbd is real annoying due to roads twisting and turning and leading to dead ends, unlike melbournes cdb that is built in squares. the diggers on anzac day were pissers! drinking outside pubs on the sidewalk  all in all it was really fun and I had a great time, which was cemented wen a brand spanking xr8 gunned it right next to us on george street and tore away leaving me drooling , that is the best ozzie stock engine note going around! btw go the swannies! wat a great win!
  21. the gt spoiler has the exact same dimensions as the old t series cars wings, cept for the fact the gt's have the bit in the middle comming down _______ |___|___| (this vertical bit here in the middle) _______ |______| (it was like this on the t-series) soz 4 the very rough attempt u get the idea
  22. I would have to disagree with u there turbo6, tasmania has the best roads in australia, just look at targa tasmania, one of the best road rally races in the world. look at wheels/street machine/motor they test drive heaps of cars down there, due to it having the best all round terrain types.
  23. mums 94 vienta csi v6 camry has a single din stereo, so its easy to swap. mite be post 94 toyota they went built in
