  1. like the guys said could be a loose pipe/clamp or as I experiened in th rex I had it was caused by damaged fins on the turbo compressor with causes it to go out of balance and sound super dooper but not good for the turbo Alex.

  3. I know it's a cheapo, but the Monza type coolers fit to factory plumbing and seems to do the job quite good, for their price at least. Alex.
  4. I have run a dual 2 1/2 inch exhaust, not too expensive off the shelf, high flow 3.5" cat, standard dump and made an easy 314 atw's in 12psi. Dany exhuasts did mine and was very happy, not too loud either Alex.

Hi Guys, thanks for all the replies, wish it did fit !! ahh well, will look into Snort performance and see whats available, I shot them an email see if they have any cheapo log type manifold that they could knock up as I don't really want to spend big bucks on this car, just enuf to wake it up a little hehehe ...   6. Hi all, My daily drive an EB Fairmont on LPG, wanting to get sum boost into it, does the XR6T exhaust manifold bolt up to the 4 litre EB head ? If anyone know's please let me know as may get one cheapishhh Thanks Alex.

  8. Hi ALF05T, Sure gets up and boogies now ! Power is a little bit different, used to own a Rex with 275kw atw's, was alot more controllable in situations 4wd etc .. but yeah the big Ford needs a lot more common sense as not to get into any sideway's trouble and find a pole at 80+ k's !
  9. yeah 205's would save that tranny for sure, fishtale to work, that would be good hehehe ... I'v put a pretty big trans cooler in there, so I hope that helps for the time being Alex.
  10. Hi San, Yep I forgot to mention the valve springs have been changed, they were the Nizpro ones from the group buy. Yeah once the tranny lets go, I'll be talking to Kewish for an upgrade. Alex.

  12. Hi guys, Thought wouldn't bump the beast to 300+ but was easier done than first thought. Mods include: K&N filter, home made cold air intake, Bosch green injectors, Flash tuner, Monza cooler, auto tranny oil cooler, Dandy exhaust's custom exhaust with twin 2.5" and catco race CAT. car sounds awesome and breaks traction quite easily. just worried about the stock tranny. The guys at Springy Motors (Daniel) did the tune and firmed up the tranny pressures but we will see how it all goes A big thanks to Daniel at Springy motors, rapt with the results ! Now need some new rear tyre's, do 265x35x18's fit on Ford factory rims ? Alex.
  13. Hey Guy's, Got the car tuned at Springy Motors, Daniel did a great job ! Got 314kw's ATW and has transformed the family hack into a beast !

  15. Hi all, Having bought all bits and pieces to fit up to my XR6T (BA 2003), I need to know if there would be generic tunes available for specific mods eg ... Bosch injectors, Wog cooler, CAI, Metal Cat replacement (High flow Cat), just to get me going for now, then custom tunes will happen once saved up

  17. actually now that you guy's mention it, didn't even think it may of been the light switch or stalk on the steering column, will sus that out over the weekend. Thanks for the input, Alex.
  18. Hi guys, Had this problem for a while, thought better put it to you guys before taking to an auto elec. My parker lights work and so do the foglights & high beams, but my main headlights won't work. I have checked to fuses in the fuse box and have tested them with the multimeter and they are fine ! What else could it be ? From memory both sides stopped working at the same time, so that's what's got me buggered. Could it just be that both side's burnt out at the same time ? too much of a coincidence if you ask me, but don't wanna fork out for new globes if it's not the problem . Any suggestions ?   19. yeah that's what I thought Turbo6man, but then I thought maybe it's a new technical phrase I didn't want to take it up with ford as the warranty is up, but might give it a go anyway as it did happen during the warranty period. Thanks for that, Alex.
  20. Hi Guys/Gals, just need to ask if any of you guys have had an issue with "lost identity" in a BA XR6 Turbo, auto. When the car was under warranty it started playing around on the trip computer, it would show 180kms then a few seconds later 100 or 80 the gauge would move around as well, the car would run out of fuel even though it was showing just under 1/4 of a tank of fuel. Took it to ford and they said the car had " lost it's identity" whatever that means, so it got fixed and all was fine. Now car has run out of warranty and the bloody thing is happening again !! Ran out of fuel again with the gauge showing there is fuel in there under a 1\4 of a tank. Can ford only fix this or can anyone help me steered in the right direction to fix it once and for all. Have lost faith on Ford service, been screwed around too many times ! (with other issues) Don't get me started as it's another story with those F#ckers !! Anyway hope someone can help, Thanks guys Alex.
