Not coated but there is sufficient overspray inside the openings that (Atleats in mine) it had begun to peel off in rather large flakes, but what do I know

I had a mate change the plugs on my old girl 6-7 months ago he noticed while pulling the Turbo manifold off that a couple of the rubber mounts were broken and that the black enamel (or whatever that coating is) was flaking off in rather big pieces around where the hoses sat. Once it was all the way off he pointed out that there was flaking on the inside aswell I WAS UNIMPRESSED to say the least . Took it to ford they changed the mounts and manifold under warranty. From then on I have kept an eye on this, the last thing you need is this black crap going where it shouldn't.

If im home (In Adelaide as opposed to work) im in mate, if its in 3 weeks I will be home on that weekend and sunday is good

Ended up a great day for a cruise and had a good day blowing a few cob webs out of the old girl nice to see a few turbs out aswell. Took a small piece of video with the old mobile phone sorry for the poor quality (If this even works at all) I guess you just push the the old upload button.......................... well um ok see if that works if no joy voy got some footage and im sure as soon as he has had an hour or two of sleep he will upload them properly.

If I can manage get up that early when nobodys paying me ill be there who am I kidding it was good last time to see a couple of modded turbs give it a few herbs and am keen to observe it again still havent modded my old girl but will try and keep up all the same . seeya there

G DAY ALL Turns out it was a good day for a cruise I had alot of fun and It was good to meet a few of the members. To finally see a couple of nicely modded turbs was great and makes me even more envious than before After talking to a couple of the guys about there mods really simplified the whole process and made me even more determined to go ahead with some mods of my own to heck with the warranty count me in for the next cruise I just hope im in town for it but I will have to invest in some touch up paint, those stone chips are a biatch.

ABOUT THE CRUISE ON THE WEEKEND, I MIGHT HEAD DOWN THERE ASWELL ANY DAY IS A GOOD DAY FOR A CRUISE. I DONT KNOW ANY OF YOU GUYS YET BUT ILL LOOK FOR THE XR LINE UP.
