  1. I've got the gen1 gtx3576r, 390rwkW on 98, 435rwkW on e85. Great for a street car, have gone 11.0 at drags (a better pilot may crack a 10). Gen2 would definitely be worth a look.
  2. Been in the 400 club for a few years now. Baby GTX, 5” cat, PW 4” intake, built ZF, carbon driveshaft so I don’t end up with a hole in the floor. Brakes, coilovers, wheels. Getting towards 170k km, still solid. Obligatory dyno graph
  3. Any updates on this? Hit a ceiling of 11.0 with the gen1, want to know if the gen2 is worth it.
  4. Get a little over 370 on 98 with the gen 1,hoe did you go with gen2
  5. Hey guys Trying to wire up my EDFC, need an accessory power source in the engine bay and in the cabin. Any ideas which wires are which? I have a G6ET Mk1. Cheers, Lindsay
  6. The pod is stock FG turbo size, will help BA-F though
  7. You'd prob have to get separate tunes for LPG vs petrol, would have to reflash when switching between fuels. Not sure how many tuners would touch LPG tuning, or if changing LPG injector pulsewidth/flow would require a different controller/reg/injectors. Could maybe run both? LPG down low, petrol on boost/ other way round? Not sure if that's possible but if its injected rather than venturi mixed in it should be controlled enough to tune for? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
  8. What about sets of Shockworks adjustable coilovers? Hearing really good things about them
  9. Name: Lindsay Car: FG G6ET Trans: 6 speed auto Boost: 17 psi tapering off to 13psi Induction: Herrod intake w/K&N filter, Nizpro cooler and piping Turbo: Stock GT3576r Valve Springs: Atomic Exhaust: Custom 3.5" split dump -> xforce 2x2.5" Fuel system: ID1000's, walbro 400Lph fuel pump, E85 Tuner: XFT Power: 360rwkw, 890Nm 1/4 mile: 12.002 with massive traction issues.
  10. Looks good! E85 + surge + valve springs + tune should see you get at least 350, went from 309 to 360 switching to e85 with similar mods in my fg.
  11. Just checked the dyno sheet again, 790 is the derived torque. Scary.
  12. Fair enough, have seen a guy with a similar handle in WA
  13. Have been looking at wheels, but all of the good looking cheap ones are in 5x120 or not wide enough. After a quick look, found: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/75632-widening-standard-rims/ Widening standard wheels doesn't look safe. Looking at eventually upgrading to Brembo front callipers, are there any 18s that will clear them? If so, some of the Lenso Eurostyle (ESC,9, would look awesome: http://www.lensowheel.com/Lenso-Sub-Brand-list/?SubCatID=10006 If these came in a 19x9.5 rear Id love a set http://www.talebtyres.com.au/products_closeup.asp?part=&part_no=868 These may be a bit expensive. http://www.talebtyres.com.au/products_closeup.asp?part=&part_no=842 Any recommendations of some good multispokes?
  14. Ah, so this would constitute "roller torque"? Difference is variations in calculation due to roller size, etc? Had never heard of that before! Thanks, learnt something. Did you used to (/still have) a turbo EL ONE RAT? Cheers mate, thinking about some new wheels, will try some different tread on them when I get there. Love the 19" luxo rims, but they are a bit skinny and wont clear the brake upgrade I'll eventually need. Unless theres a way you can legally and safely make it a 2 piece, keeping the face and widening/putting some rim on?
  15. Lennox - absolutely. Keep seeing guys in crazy utes lose the tail as they try to nail it out of a corner. Although now that I think about it that may have been intentional.. P91 - I know the power bug will rear its head again, but just won't have the funds for turbo+ZF rebuild+driveshafts+CVs+ bigger brakes(stock ones are getting close to their limit+ potentially conrods&pistons. So 480hp is enough for me (for now =P). Still pretty competitive. Not sure how even 600hp would go on the street, let alone 700! Should have reasonable manners down low though. GT42? Buf-phoon (nice handle btw) - that's exactly what I'm worries about now. Got some 245 p zeros on the back and it's just lighting them up without gripping if I give it anything more than half throttle. Any recommendations on better tyres?
  16. BenDoCo- cost $500, could've done a turbo side intake cheaper with better performance. Works well for what it is, but wouldn't buy on again. FiftyOne - thanks for the concern, think the bearings will fail before the compressor wheel though. Hopefully a while before that happens. Arronm - definitely need wider/stickier rears =P P91 - not for the moment, if I'm honest current power levels exceed my skill level, working on handling mods and getting some experience. I'm also 20hp off the maximum power recommended for the diff and 250nM more torque than the gearbox is rated to, so if I push the ceiling much further, I will have a huge bill on my hands. If I have to change turbo, will probably go gtx3576, modest tune with better spool, and start saving for driveshafts and cvs.
  17. Yeah e85. Will need to replace fuel filter and reg before tuning, made that mistake =S. Debadged and polished since these pics.
  18. Yep quads are real, yep stock turbo. Click here to hear the quads (bit of background noise, will get a better one later) Found the dyno sheet:
  19. Hi guys, Have been in the 300+ club for a while but new numbers made it worth posting =) Car was tuned by XFT, set up with: Nizpro intercooler and piping, ID1000 injectors, thermostat, custom 3.5" split dump into XForce twin 2.5", Herrod CAI (only part I regret buying), PWR ZF heat exchanger and a 400Lph intake pump. Also put in a Truetrac diff, Superpro bushes and Whiteline swaybars to help to get it down to the ground. Absolutely love it where it is, not putting any more power mods on until the turbo dies. Might need some brakes and coilovers soon though =P. Some pics:
