  1. Started getting the ute ready for the 5 link install. Removed the fuel cap, disconnected tail lights and rego plate light and unbolted the tub. Just waiting for the 5 link to arrive then it'll lift straight off.
  2. Stupid farkin torx headed screws that hold the fg ute tub rails in. Half of them decided to strip when I was trying to get them out.
  3. DIY 4TW Would be best to sort out the remote bleeder, braided lines and alloy CSC before you start the job.
  4. Stock fg is 3". There's a 4" dump and that that bolts to factory exhaust here. http://www.seperformance.com.au/exhaust_systems.html You'll probably still have to get the waste gate port and flapper mod done.
  5. What's with this thread and not updating? Shows the preview in tapacrap but can't see anything since the 13th in the thread...... Edit Works now. Also there was a guy on AFF that did a complete turbo and manual conversion with his G6E and used Ford to reflash the ECU. Can't see any issues just swapping the box over.
  6. Here's the link Freaky http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11280007 You'll have to log in though, check the last few pages.
  7. Yea when its set pretty low, they'll need trimming at least by the looks of it. No mods to diff or shaft needed.
  8. It is a bolt in kit bit it needs mods to the exhaust and bump stops depending how low you set it. Trav has fitted one to his F6 ute. He's posted pics on his thread on AFF. Looks like a top kit.
  9. Yea way too many $$$. But I'm over the harshness of the caltracs and it tramps without them.
  10. Decided it's time to get rid of the caltracs and leaf springs all together. Tried it without the caltracs and it still tramps even with the shockworks rear dampers. I've tried 2 different types of bushes with the caltracs. One being a sleeved poly style bush and even tried a modified ford bush. The Ford bush lasted 3 weeks and the sleeved poly bush split pretty quickly, I'm assuming due to being a bad batch of poly as it was custom made. The ride wasn't really improved with either bush as the brackets that sit around the leaf eye squeak alot and I've found that grease only lasts a week or so before it gets noisy again. So to well and truly sort out I've ordered a 5 link from performance suspension.
  11. Was going to get one of those but I'm over charging them every week. I ended up getting a partial refund and vivofit2, does what it's meant to and supposedly lasts a year on the batteries.
  12. The bigger radiator helps a lot but you really need a decent sized oil cooler. Set it up with a thermostatic sandwich plate and it will be fine for everyday driving as well.
  13. Need more grip man, can get some decent prices if you look around.
  14. Has anyone fit a set of 335s on the back of a ute?
  15. Soft cop out koke man, borrow my spares. Bugger Corey, How'd you manage that?
  16. I've got the morning off work and a bye for cricket so I'm definitely going.
  17. Rebel will replace it no questions. Just over them only lasting a few months before the screen gives up.
  18. Well vivosmart number 5 just died. Might be time for something else.
  19. Feb cruise Pixy, also March cruise. You can do it.
  20. Looks great mate. 18s 4TW on Sydney roads, only reason I'd ever go 19s is because they go up to 345 wide. Maybe one day haha.
