  1. Not with the shagged zf. And I'm still gonna be on too many points to risk it after the suspension. Would be a great cruise though.
  2. Long day at work? @-stever- Why this ^^^^ no work@k31th
  3. Not driving is sh*te, public transport is sh*te. Getting me a bike weeeeeeeeeeeee
  4. Trays are narrower than the tub, they stay the same width as the cab whereas the tub widens towards the wheel wells. I tried my 295/35r18 on the work ute (fg with alloy tray) and they poked out past the tray, would say 275 maybe 285 with the right offsets but it would probably still rub.
  5. I doubt it would make 1000hp with the 1.1 housing, would have to go the 1.45 and that would be pretty laggy in comparison. Looks like a killer turbo though, should fill the gap between the GTX3582 and the GTX4294 nicely.
  6. Could be an fg at 440kg vs bf ???. I reckon the B series are built tougher than the FG, would make sense as the fg has a higher ancap rating so it crushes easier.
  7. Ditch the LPG idea. Will set you back way too much for a capable LPG system ($10k area). There's a guy on here rarely and often on AFF, GAZ084 who has done a supercharged BA xr6. Spent big $$$ on the LPG and ended up going to a factory petrol tank setup all with aftermarket options xr6ts use. To save the $$$ is go bf mk2 xr6t. There's no such thing as a 1 tonne falcon they were all dealer options that may have included uprated leaf springs. But I wouldn't want to be throwing weight in an xr ute, they have a max payload of 440kg setup as factory. Also keep in mind most alloy trays weigh around 100kg depending on extras. The tub body weighs more so will aid in traction.
  8. Leafs are piss easy if you've got a jack and a few stands. If you've got the factory leaf packs with the overload leafs you can swap them to the top of the pack to lower it a bit. I'd get rid of the saddle bushes altogether as well, makes no difference to nvh and seems more planted and there's less bushes to replace. You'll have to make something up to locate the axle properly on the springs once you pull the saddles out though. Do all that and I'd say you'd be an inch or so lower than factory. I'd keep the front leaf eye bush a factory one and use either super pro or bike than for the rear eye and shackle bushes as the OEM rubber ones will only last a month before deforming. Good shocks make a big difference in the rear, front as well but that's the same as a sedan.
  9. Get a ruler then go to will they fit.
  10. You'd think there would be some kind of work around for it. The new Sprint apparently has boost by gear strategies.
  11. Funny you say that. I've got speed holes in the bonnet, custom mount shocks in the 5 link clearly visible from the back end, a big CMS sticker and plenty of shiny under the bonnet with a loud as fark exhaust and I've never been asked to pop the bonnet or even had an officer want to look. I think it's more about your attitude when your pulled over.
  12. Assuming you mean the FG manifold. Yes it will bolt up but will need piping changes.
  13. Dogs come good. No infections so she'll be right.
  14. Wouldn't have helped this time unfortunately. New rims next year methinks.
  15. Scuffed a rim in a sh*t tight carpark. The one time I take the ute somewhere I probably should I go and fark a rim. Not happy, wouldn't have happened if I didn't have the sh*tty xxr550s that stick out from the tyres. It might be time to sort out some stupid wide wheels & tyres.
  16. Same same but opposite you'd assume. You'll figure it out once you hold them next to the factory lines.
  17. One does not simply use solid mounts.
  18. It seems you have the cop chip. Good buy Rob. Yea I'd say the mount is shagged, best to change both.
  19. K31th wtf, ya don't drink coffee, ya don't drink beer and ya don't drive your F6. At least you've gone and got yourself an XR6T, little steps I suppose haha.
  20. Didn't staino have them on? I think he gave the calipers a massage with a grinder.
