  1. Legend, never knew about that. Will turn it off next time I drive it, drives me mad that 3 clicks.
  2. Yea, need the narrow ones to fit.
  3. The OEM valve will be the quietest one you'll find. Just make sure its plumbed correctly.
  4. Can anyone recommend a good set of wheel nuts that suit "tuner" style wheels? Have had dramas with since fitting the rota wheels. 1st set were ok until I fitted the new diff with arp studs, one but decoded to strip on its way out at the end of the stud what a PITA. The new set seemed ok when they went on but they're alloy so I'm not confident in then lasting more than 2-3 sessions being torqued properly even with anti seize.
  5. Was cutting some more speed holes in the bonnet yesterday arvo. All went sweet until I took the masking tape off (used to protect the surrounding paint) and it tore a heap of clear off the bonnet. Even started to peel the tape towards the holes rather than away to prevent any paint being lifted, bugger it. Gotta get it resprayed now.
  6. Next year for sure k31th, car won't be ready in time this year.
  7. So whose up for a meet around the Christmas break? I'll be down at kiama for the break. Keen for a meet but probably not so much for a cruise due to the double demerits and all.
  8. No idea of any events k31th, where abouts in Sydney?
  9. Use Imgur or another hosting site, works easy on your phone mate.
  10. I like this idea. Will have to find some old pics and get some decent new ones.
  11. Netflix's Mindhunter, main characters name is H o l d e n Ford. Wtf lol.
  12. Got the new tailshaft in. Really happy with the quality, fit and lack of nvh.Driveline feels alot more solid now. Will get a better pic once it's on the hoist but here's one for now.
  13. Pulled the tailshaft out, bolted up a new diff yoke and measured up for a new tailshaft from Gibson. If anyone wants a free tailshaft for a manual 6 speed ute pm me.
  14. Try calling them, mines going in soon for cams and vernier gears.
  15. I'm thinking I gotta get some cams now, always wanted that sound from the car. Not like the utes that practical anyway. Well I raised the front a little so it doesn't scrape too much yesterday so maybe slightly more practical than last week lol. Should have the zorst sorted out next Saturday and the tailshaft sometime between now and then. Then it's off to CMS for a proper tune and maybe a set of cams.
  16. Old ones were XXR 550. Fronts 18x8.75 +36 with 255/40R18. Rears 18x9.75 +36 with 295/35R18. Would suit 245 fronts and 285 rears better as they bulged a bit.
  17. Thanks fellas, will try to get some more pics during the week pretty happy with how it's looking now.
  18. Got a bit more done on the ute after work last week and over the weekend. Fitted a Hayman Reese 2300kg tow kit (for the removable hitch rather than weight rating) and got a recoed/built diff fitted on Sunday. Turns out the 2nd nizpro muffler won't fit with the hd tow kit so I'll have to get it modified again. Got a few quotes to have the diff rebuilt around Sydney with a true trac and new bearings with arp studs. The best being $2300 if I removed the axles and dropped the diff off for the day, fark that. Rang MDR in Dandenong after seeing their eBay listings and got a much better price of $2750 (plus freight) for new axles, bearings, arp studs, new gears, true trac centre in a Ba casing. Just had to swap over the brake plates from the Bf diff I was using and it was an easy swap. Only got one pic as I was busy enjoying the speedo working and having traction. Pretty happy with it even having only gone easy on it to run it in.
  19. How the fark do you get 55000 out of them. Ill struggle to get 5-6k a set lol. Not a fan of the stretch at all, I reckon the utes need at least 295 rears to get traction. Get some neg camber up front and fit 265s and roll the rear quarters (remove the brace and replace after rolling) and you'll get 305s in the rear.
  20. Someone buy my sports bar. Has fitting kit, need it gone. $100 or a box of new. Cheers, kents.
  21. Just one of the flat ones probably the same as yours. Will just leave it cable tied for now, not a big fan of screwing it to the bumper.
  22. No pics till I got some trim on it, average bumper cutout is average lol. That's what I meant k31th, nizpoo system was 3k, then modding it to fit over the 4 link was 650 and the cutout valve was a few hundred from memory. The rear muffler is huge so it can't fit at any angle. One is enough with a cat so probably just get it run with 4" into twin 3.5 tips.
  23. Fitted a HD towbar to the ute, rear muffler doesn't fit. Suppose that answered the question of nizpros system fitting with a HD towbar. Probably gonna be a 4-5k custom zorst once I get it modified again. Has anyone seen a decent spot to mount the trailer plug? Have only seen them screwed to the bottom of the bumper which looks a bit average.
