  1. Anyway I plugged the vac lines I ran for the BOVs as they aren't in yet. Got it started and set the fuel regulator this arvo, no fuel or vac leaks so I'm happy with that. Cable and fittings for the battery relocation should arrive this week along with the BOVs so hopefully I can sort them out in the next week or two then get a new cold side fabbed up.
  2. The following parts are for sale, all removed in working order as they were replaced with upgrades. - Process West fuel system - $1400 Consists of the new Process West surge tank with dual walbro 460 pumps. Process West Billet fuel rail, quick connect to factory line fittings, dual -6AN supply with check valves at the tank outlets, -8AN return line with a turbosmart FPR2000 and 100psi gauge (gauge reads correctly but has a crack in the glass). - FG Turbo Inlet manifold - $400 - Throttle body elbow $400 From a Jonny Tig cooler kit, would probably suit other setups. Has a Turbosmart dual port 38mm BOV with blocking cap, trumpet and recirculation fitting. Also has a Nizpro overboost valve fitted to it. Pickup in western Sydney prefered, if postage is required there may be a day or so delay as I'm not able to drive currently.
  3. Not really, caters for moderate power levels and keeps the pumps quieter just doesn't have the capacity needed.
  4. Swapped the surge due to volume and went the rails as it comes with the manifold. Been wanting an unpainted airbox for a while so just went the lot. Nothing wrong with the process west gear bar the size of the surge tank, have seen quite a few big powered cars needing to upgrade from it when pushing past 800+hp.
  5. It is a twin feed and single return, if that makes more sense.
  6. Same size lines I had with the previous setup, wich I know is proven for big power and works well with the fpr2000. New surge has more capacity wich will be needed once I get the built motor sorted out one day down the track. Guessing you would have gone with a different setup?
  7. Also ran a new water line and fitted a bracket I got from Mackielec Industries. Looks pretty decent comprared to the previous way I had it, will swap the cable ties to hose seperators one day.
  8. Made some progress with the Ute over the last few weeks. Pulled out the Process West airbox, rail lines and surge tank out on a Sunday and fitted the new gear when there was time after work. Now have a Plazmaman airbox, intake plenum, fuel rail and surge tank with twin peirburg pumps. I used Mack 247 fittings and lines for the fuel and vac lines. I ran 400 series pushlock hose for the fuel system, -6 supply and -8 return with an FRP2000. Replaced the brake booster fitting with an aftermarket with a -6 end then ran -6 400 series to the intake manifold. Also used -4 pushlock for the other vac lines. Have used oetiker clamps on all hose ends. Will be using the remaining NPT port on the manifold for a gauge line/fitting and to use a "normal" vac hose for tuning purposes. Should have some new turbosmart race port BOVs show up soon then I'll have a new cold side fabbed up. Also have some 50mm2 cable and other parts showing up soon to relocate the battery to the toolbox in the tray.
  9. Cooler piping out if nescessary, radiator fan shroud out, drive belt and balancer off. Had rocker cover off at the time so can't remember if nescessary, then timing cover and sump off. Pump is accessible after that, may involve more may not.
  10. I've just fitted up a plaz twin peirburg setup with their rail in my Ute. The pumps come with -6 fittings so I ran -6 pushlock lines to the fuel rail, ran a -8 return line from the rail to an FPR2000 fuel reg then -8 back to the surge tank.
  11. Yea lol. Not too bad though 12km each way but on the bike track so there's only 2km on the road.
  12. Yeah pretty much. Just getting all the bolt ons sorted while I'm off the road for the next few months. Just waiting on the other half of the hoses to show up so I can get the vac lines done. Plan is for plenty more power than it has, definitely want it to be over 1000hp at the treads. Hopefully late this year, or early next year.
  13. Did some yesterday and some this arvo. Pulled out the airbox, intake manifold, surge tank and a few more things. Put better stuff in.
  14. Utes don't lock the fuel door. I think they started to use lockable caps at some stage for the FG mk2.
  15. Mackielec or go pipes turbo manifolds make a bracket that bolts to the timing cover and holds them with pipe separator clamps.
  16. Have seen them driving around Sydney before, wouldn't be surprised if they can be.
  17. The dirt series can eat a dick. If it weren't for them the motorstorm series would still be around. Best games ever I reckon.
  18. Thanks, may just have to get it colour matched. Ordered a staino upper grill to replace the fading factory one. Should turn out fairly decent.
  19. Does anyone know if there's a colour code for the grey that's used on the plastic bumper grill inserts for the xr50s?
  20. Well when you want it fixed then and there it sometimes does the job lol.
  21. The nuts from ramset 12mm dynabolts do the job lol. Bunnings had bugger all that was useable.
  22. Thanks jet. Pretty sure it went yesterday but has been pissing down rain so didn't get a chance to check it out.
