  1. Lazy bugger k31th, he's had the hurst setup for a while. The extra nvh is probably from the clutch. My twin plate was pretty bad initially, smoothed out a little after 1500km or so but I'd say yours will be better being organic and ceramic, not just ceramic.
  2. Surprised you got that long out of the plastic junk. The bleeder line is a life saver, actually makes it possible to bleed the thing.
  3. Got a little bit done over the last few weeks. New bonnets on with the grills in now, I reckon it looks pretty decent. Fitted a set of 6/4 brembos, braided lines and DBA 5000 fronts with DBA 4000 rears. Threw in some 10mm rear spacers, because why not. Also put in some stiffer coil springs, 18kg fronts and 12kg rears. Actually does fairly well in traffic and daily driving, goes real well giving it a bit aswell. Some pics are a bit sh*t but I didn't get any others so here ya go.
  4. Nice. Then you see the prices haha
  5. At the fly or wheels, alot more than id expect of its atw.
  6. What's up with the typical negative nancy gotta be legall I <3 Bananas heads on AFF. sh*t ruins that forum. Oh no spacers are illegal NSW. Lol ok bud. Doesn't notice 335 wide rears or 285 fronts (illegal track width ooooooo noooo), too low, front and rear track too wide, cut front bracket for cooler, illegal spec 5 link, probably too loud zorst, technically illegal engine mods, pretty sure theres 50 more things lol.
  7. Them heavy duty king springs might be ay
  8. Agree with what serb said. Trutrack is a heap of junk in my opinion. If it's an auto and you only punch it in a straight line every now and then it'll be ok. Under straight line acceleration they're ok, crap everywhere else. Rubbish under decell and engine braking, noisy when doing so aswell.
  9. I've already got the triple pod and pillar mounts waiting to fit lol. I'll stick with them unless the fancy tablet is as good as it looks. The only thing that's stopped me going fg2 ICC is the climate control issue, of this goes with no issue I'm keen, price is on point too with the fg2 conversion. My main interest it USB and Bluetooth streaming. Pretty sh*tty using the old 4s over my phone's wifi hotspot just to keep steering wheel control for the long trips. Then add an amp and speakers later on. Could be a good option.
  10. Will see what they say tomorrow if I can get a hold of them, looks like a good bit of kit. Wonder how it goes with dual zone and factory reverse cameras?
  11. Looks good, kinda screws my plan for mounting gauges ontop of the ICC though. Maybe they do a smaller screen? Anyone with FB able to get more info on them? If it's Sydney based I'll hit them up this week.
  12. Gotta do a bit of a garage clean out. If you want any of the following pm me, springs are a 6 pack each, diff and axles for a box. Diff and axles pickup only, will ship springs at cost. 2x 300lbs/in 10" coil springs. 2x 300lbs/in progressive rate 9" coil springs. 2x 7kg/mm 225mm coil springs (Shockworks) 2x 9kg/mm 225mm coil springs (Shockworks standard front coil) BF diff housing (from an F6 if that helps lol) and axles, bearings need replacing but axles have no twist. Also still have the 4/1 brake kit for sale.
  13. Could always try, but I doubt it would end well.
  14. There isn't. Tuff mounts transfer heaps of NVH. Realistically you need to use their trans mount aswell or the flex from that will cause problems with the engine mounts. Definately makes it feel race car though.
  15. I've seen it on the support behind the dash. Haven't seen it anywhere else and I've had the interior pretty much stripped out. Old BF had it, FG has it, mates FGX has it. They just didn't paint it at all as it's a bolt in part I guess.
  16. Old mate: can I leave my car at your place tonight. (Old mates moving house atm and garage is full of sh*te) Me: no worries just leave the keys for me Get home after work, farking old mate forgot to leave the keys (won't be back for hours), parked me into my own driveway farken. At least there's beers.
  17. It's no different from before at 120. Mind you the ladder bars, exhaust and tyres, mainly the tyres cause alot of noise.
  18. Dainton - Double IPA Good stuff. Actually everything from Dainton is bloody great.
  19. Batch - trippy hippys double rainbow. Good brew, tins a bit colourful though.
  20. sh*t tons fool. Buy my brembos freaky, you know you want to.
  21. Turned out pretty farking decent. Will put the mesh grills in once they're dry.
  22. Put a set of 18kg coils in the front end and moved the 12kg coils to the back end. Feels less boat more race ute. I figured they'll settle a bit so set it a touch high, fingers crossed the height works out ok.
