Fair enough it's a double demerit weekend but FFS, I've been pulled up for 6 rbts today and have only driven for 45 minutes. Overkill man.

So generally happy with the unit? Yes, screen visibility isn't great with sun on it. Does it look decent or stick out like a sore thumb? Looks average Tried any playstore apps? Yes, works like a normal tablet Something you'd recommend? Yes Did you get the apple/android integration with it? Yes, don't bother. They supply an add on dongle that plugs into the USB cable. The unit already has 2 USB cables, I'm sure that eBay would have a cheaper one. You can use a different launcher aswell, the stock one is a disgrace. I'm using "car launcher AGAMA" which is pretty good, very customisable.

Also yes their boot screen is a pos. @k31th can you hack it plz, make it a ford logo you mad dawg.

Went for a cruise this arvo. So you have to key it on before the Kayhan ICC works, no probs. Factory you didn't but meh. It connects to phones wifi & Bluetooth etc but when you start the car it restarts so has to reboot once your getting out the driveway. Asides from that it's pretty responsive, would not compare it to a late tablet for speed or screen quality but a bit upgrade from stock that's for sure. Sound seems to need a few more digits to seem loud but putting system in soonish so not fussed. Also yes it plays the prons.

Got to take a mates ranger raptor for a run today. Actually a bloody great setup. Powers obviously lacking but the rest is brilliant. Rear end suspension is a massive upgrade over the normal ranger, miles ahead for off road stuff. Had a real positive feel compared to the leafs even on the road. Want one, with a Barra. Would be mad.

No but I'll look it up, sounds good. Hoping they sus out how to patch into the factory Bluetooth mic, the aftermarket ones don't look great.

Mine arrived yesterday. Did a dumb and didn't push the rear socket in properly. So I only got it going today. If anyone gets one you really need to lean into it to get it to seat properly. Asides from that it's a little fiddly to get it to sit right. They have just put some new videos up saying to redrill the factory side brackets. This is to allow some clearance for the power socket at the rear of the cd player. Pics not great and it's not bolted in yet but seems pretty decent so far.

Rota P45R2 fronts and P45R3 rears do, might not fit the car though cos fat. Cheap as though.

The good -> wasn't brake fluid The bad -> fpr gauge pissed its guts out. Only gauge fluid not fuel but farken peice of chit.

Pulled the ute into the driveway to fix the farked window regs and switch. Did that, sweet as. Then notice a big ol oily puddle where it was in the garage, turns out its brake fluid next from the front left. Guessing the hardline to flex line flare is shagged and the chassis rail paint along the drip line. Looks like it's night shift mechanic tomorrow aswell [emoji2361]

Not a fan of the branding on it or the lack of 5.1 outputs. Will be looking into some kind of sound upgrade soon so it's a bummer but the fact that it's a "factory" looking/compatible upgrade has sold me.

Power windows decided to pop the fuse on the way home tonight. Had a spare in the panel luckily but the regs sounded shot for a year or so. $250 for new regs and switches to fix it, yay............ Then when they show up fitting them will be average at best cos door trims off.

No FB mate, will ring the bloke on Monday.

I'm expecting my unit to show up early next week. Didn't ask about the obd connection when I ordered it as I was going to use a top mounted gauge pod. Did you end up getting an answer from him? They have recently put up pics of it with top mounted gauges and it doesn't look right, screen sits too high to clearly see them. It would be great if they could be incorporated into the system.

Kevlar is supposed to be nicer to drive than ceramic but from what I know needs a higher clamping force to hold. Would be interesting to see if it was a different pressure plate or only the clutch plates that differ in that npc clutch. I drive my ute pretty hard, have not killed the Xtreme twin plate ceramic clutch yet . It's not the easiest clutch to get used to that's for sure but it's nice and cheap. Have gone through 2 axles since I've had the clutch in so its not for lack of trying lol.

The FG MK2 projector headlights use h7 globes for both low and high beam whereas the FG uses h4 and h7 globes. So you'll have to make some changes to make the wiring work.

My old iPhone I used to play stotify in the ute died so I've ordered one of the kayhan units today. From the sounds of it you retain your fascia and most of the base, the cd player and upper section are replaced. Got their reversing camera too, apparently better quality, plug n play and it was only $40 extra. Will get a few pics of the install when it shows up.
