  1. It will bulge out slightly. Drive hard it could cause some unwanted movement. Put enough pressure in to prevent this and you'll slide everywhere. Use willtheyfit.com to give you an idea. Some tyre brands are wider in the shoulder than others so you've got to sus that out to go real wide.
  2. Should have gone wider rears. Gonna be like ice skating with narrow tyres and 20's on a ute.
  3. This is annoying. I want a new one now. Update on mine anyway. Bluetooth mic is pretty average, need to speak loudly towards it to let anyone hear you. Lags more than anyone has mentioned. Boot is slow. Os is locked so you can't remove the bloatware sort of apps on it. Once it's going though it's good, usually using Spotify and Google maps. Sound is better quality aswell. It's better than the stock setup but theres still room for improvement.
  4. Get the Mal wood alloy slave. Can't wreck them. Clutch choice depends on driving style, budget and also how much noise you can put up with. Organic clutches will be quiet, much more friendly in traffic but will wear out if you overheat them. Ceramic clutches are noisy, rougher to drive as they grip harder but are made to be abused. There's carbon/Kevlar clutches available but are way overpriced and do the same as ceramic clutches do but won't last as long.
  5. Had Sydney Suspension slap in some new upper and lower arms with new bushes and ball joints + wheel align it. Just gotta wait till Feb till superpro can make some new solid upper arm bushes and hd sway bar. Feels better. Shouldn't have been lazy and thrown stock chit in years back.
  6. I still reckon the stock bov has the fastest tututututututu flutter machine out. Had that replacement dual port, 32mm dual port and now twin 50mm race ports. 32mm was best sorta stock but twin 50mm is the best dose though.
  7. Need a 20psi cap for that position as it's on the hot side. What housing did you use, looks neat as. Much nicer than my bodged old one.
  8. The one bit of silicone hose left in my utes cooler piping went pop this morning. Might be time to get the comp cover welded up with a 90* bend on top.
  9. Can someone make a mad alloy tray already. Over the tub.
  10. Add it up, the pwr kit is not that expensive. A decent cooler is $300+, lines and fitting will easily be $200+, thermostatic sandwich plates are about $150. Then add brackets, wiring, thermo switch and a relay or controller. I had one in before redoing my cooler piping and it was $800 odd once finished.
  11. Their clamps are a joke, needs Cummins replacements to hold together.
  12. Nice tray man. Got a headboard for it? Would look great with a headboard/bar.
  13. Lol carnt Power level? Driving style? Budget? They'll help narrow it down.
  14. Had the utes battery disconnected for a week or so because I pinched it for something else temporarily. Now have ac issues with the Kayhan unit, have a factory dual zone setup but now the passenger temp buttons are the fan buttons and only the driver's temp buttons work. Fan buttons do nothing. Can't see how disconnecting the battery would cause this. Will see what's going on this weekend as changing the setting have done nothing.
  15. The idea of a vented can is to relieve any pressure build up, of the lines are decently sized you'll have no chance of blowing out seals. It's when stock sized lines are used with high powered motors that you'll have issues. Like arronm said theres alot of info around here on them.
  16. Have been planning to get a 4x4 space cab ute, setting it up with a decent tray for work and get aways as the FG is to race spec for that now, also wanted to spend a bit on work related stuff for tax. Have a word with the boss man, decides he should spend a bit of company money before Xmas and get 2 new setup utes. Going ute shopping tomorrow, weeee.
  17. From in line with the unit and from drivers view. Slightly obstructing one of the gauges but not enough to need to make a new pod imo. Might shim the pods up with a few mm of PVC pipe though. Should have a warning light or alarm setup with the important ones anyway.
  18. I've got a gauge pod in the shed. Will fit it and get a few pics so you can see how they'll sit. Will post it up some time tonight.
