  1. Not adrad but when I had an alloy fenix fg prototype radiator the end tanks where set the same as factory and just the core was thicker. It's the same with their 32mm that has plastic tanks. Should also not my mates BF PWR rad is the same. So end tanks stay as factory but the core sits in and out further.
  2. That's the difference. Too bad mals shifter is folded together. Not just a simple spring swap. The core shifter is bolted together so it should be easy to change around internally.
  3. B series have 2 Fg has one. Leave it out if you can, it's just a bleed line but it continuously allows hot coolant to bypass the radiator.
  4. It definately does, to center the shifter when in neutral and help pull it across when going 2-3 etc.
  5. Ask them what measures they need. Can't go wrong then.
  6. So who's tried more than one short shifter? I much prefer the feel of 1-6 with the core short shifter over the mal wood ultimate street shifter. But given the ultimate street shifter goes into reverse without force I'll stick with it. The core shifter feels like it has stiffer springs in it and gives a firmer shift. Both go through the gears real nice but I much prefer the firmer feel of the core shifter. Hoping I'll be able to tinker with the core shifter to make it work a bit better. So who's tried the GM Rip shifter? Thoughts?
  7. It's a bummer when high beams and the horn doesn't seem to work hey. Useless carnts.
  8. I remember last year NSW highway patrol had a few territory turbos. They'd fly up and down the M4 outside of peak hours with an led banner on the roof, had "keep left unless overtaking" running across the screen. They should do that more. People are dick brains on the roads these days and it seems to be getting worse.
  9. Carnts not knowing how to use the right lane. Keep left unless overtaking you carnts. Hume hwy was a car park this arvo because of this. Carnts, keep left, you carnts. Cheers.
  10. Got a shift handle to suit the mal wood shifter that came with the t56 magnum from core shifters. Not a fan of the chrome ball but I'm over the numbers rubbing off the others. Would prefer it if it had stiffer springs in it but it does shift pretty well. Goes into reverse a lot nicer though. Tr6060, would choose the core shifter every day. T56 magnum, mals ultimate street shifter is better only due to going into reverse as easy as ever other gear.
  11. Cheap when you see the work involved. Better get a new radiator sorted soon to go with it, gonna be trick.
  12. What turbo? Stock fg won't pass 350 on e85 but will be super responsive. Throw a g2 gtx3582 in it. Definately add and aftermarket oil pump gear or full assembly if you can stretch it. If you want to drive it hard a lot think about the atomic timing set and head studs to give you a bit more room for power.
  13. What crack are you smoking k31th? It looks plenty high enough.
  14. sh*tty. Man flu, car still has a cat. Chop it next week. Good chat.
  15. That and a coat of black high temp paint looks good
  16. Flush it and you'll find out. Guessing it's a BA with its original heat exchanger so think about fitting an external cooler when you get it flushed.
  17. Works just as well with a cable tie by itself I reckon. That rubber grommet reforms where the cable tie head sits.
  18. Good pies don't need sauce you silly buggers. Robertson pie shop is my favorite and has Mac pass and jamberoo mountain rd on its doorstep so that's bloody brilliant. Cleetus is on and is betterer.
  19. Sharpen knives. Knives get sharp. Beers Slice hand. Nice but won't need stitches. Driving my Ute tomorrow for work cos getting zorst chopped. Chopped hand will love that....
  20. It's hard to comprehend how many people can't use will they fit. Got a work mate with a ranger and he thinks offsets don't matter....
