    GOt the car back and its made 368.9 rwkw ona safe 98ron tune the walbro pump was replaced with a herrod motorsports job and this gave the tuner some extra feul to up the boost to 17psi very happy with it and it sounds awesome. Its an everyday car and feelslike it until I stick the foot down then its all over very very happy

    Mattyp understand that and you know sure I was only going to be spending a small amount compared to other people but I still expect good customer service and just general respect. All in all Northmead were great, nothing was a problem and they fixed up other things too and also replaced my alternator for a fraction of the cost that ford quoted. Not ripping autoech they have a great rep but just because I am not going to be spending 10k doesnt mean I shouldnt get the same service as they would get Also I have been around cars along time, this is my 3rd ford turbo and I do know a bit about them. Ive had skylines (first one was tuned at autoech) wrxs evo and even a vy SS. While he knew I know what im on about he just showed no respect, who knows maybe he had a bad day

    To be honest I was recommended them by the guy who installed my gear. Autoech while they are great I dont really appreciate being spoken to like I know nothing adn the fact that he wanted $1000 for just a tune was abit high for me

    got a call from the tuner yesterday as they had to replace the oil line as it had a leak (warranty at intune) and he said that it was running out of puff up high so we decided to put in a Herrod full intake system (biggest intake avaialble) This will go in the car today and then re ran on the dyno to ensure its all ok He said it would make 400 easy but to be safe (stock internals and valve springs for now) he put it back to 350rwkw Hopefully getting it back saturday so the performance inc cruise sunday

    Its got 80lb injectors and a 460l walbro in it I asked for a very safe tune, he said there was alot more in it but with no stock springs and rods he wound it back to 350 and it will be very safe boost is at 15psi

    hey guys got my car back and tuned with the following mods thoughts?? 2008 FG f6 70kms HDi GT2 1000hp Intercooler and piping 4 inch Plazmaman Turbo side intake 4 inch xforce turbo back exhaust with hi flow cat Turbo smart external gate and screamer 80lb Injectors 460l Walbro Fuel pump SCT Tune I thinks that's all, made 350rwkw safe Next will be valve springs and feul system for more power

  11. I understand but I asked the supplier and he said that he was giving me RRP pricing. Im not happy about it, I mean I understand they need to make money but serioulsy a mark up of that much from rrp is a bit steep I think CMS will get my coin
  12. Got an email back from a well known tuner in sydney and this is what it said Hi Matt The cost to supply and fit the injectors is $990. The cost to custom tune your vehicle on the dyno is $880. To fit the intercooler kit and the battery re location kit is $880. Fit fuel pump is $165. Also asked for a price break down on parts and he has added at least 10% on top of what I can get it for. This is just for an FYI O h I dint mean show car is in top of the line, im talking neat and tidy and clean that you cna take to local shows This is only my performance budget, other stuff is already purchased
  13. Rab Yes aboput 5k is my budget but I want the battery relocation and intake as a must as it tidies up the engine bay and this will be a show car by the end So power wise as I said 330 and im happy

WEll so far this is the comparison Matt buying Cooler kit and piping $1100 Battery relocation / Race Box $750 3inch Throttle Elbow $100 Exhaust 4 inch turbo back into twin 2.5 $1300 SCT tune box (2nd Hand) $350 All adds too $3500 Going to get from tuner Injectors / feul pump and customer tune for maybe $1500 Tuner (had 3 prices from 3 different once around 7k to do this I will be purchasing all parts next week, when will the group buy be happening

Been shopping around for prices for tune and some qoodies for my car Question is for you all Is it cheaper to purchase all the stuff myself (racebox, battery reloc, exhaust, flash box, injectors, piping kit) and have it installed (I have access to a hoist) or go throught the shop for everything Thoughts ?
  18. Hi guys get a pop up on my dash that says not charged and the battery symbol when sitting at traffic lights. It disappears when I go over 40kmph. Also now and then im getting a RSS fault pop up. Took my car to a auto electrician and checked my battery which was sitting at 13.8 while the car was running. The battery is new, along with a year old alternator. Also checked the earth strap and that looks ok from what I could see (unable to get under car to confirm. Any ideas at all guys, the autroi electrician thinks the alt could be faulty but not sure until he takes it out.

  21. yes it does fart a bit but I dont know why it woulod be doing this. Ive only had the car for a month or two, previous owner was a lady with 2 kids who harly drove it henthe low low kms
  22. Ok guys under full throttle my car when it changes gear kind of bogs down. Like the gear changes are not fluent. The car is a stock F6 sedan 2008 apart from a herrod intake and has 69kms on the clock for example 1st gear to 2nd gear it hesitates before it gets going again DCS is off too

  24. Noticed on my FG F6 last night that I had a little blow back on my herrod intake (the BOV vents that way) Should I be worried or is this normal, car has 69kms and is stock apart from Herrod intake and BOV
