Really I would have thought there would be at least a 5rwkw gain N/A.

I known this forum revolves mainly around the turbo vehicles so I hope I don't get flamed. I am currently running a nizpro manifold on my N/A vehicle with the butterflies sill in place inside of the lower half of the manifold. In the near future I am looking at installing more aggressive cams , 4.1 diff gears and a stall converter. I am also thinking of opening the lower half of the manifold up removing the butterflies somewhat similar to what has been done in the picture below. Before doing this I am just after some advise. Do you think that the runner openings are too large if I was to do this, how would it effect performance? Do you think it would benefit a vehicle that only revs to 6500rpm. Would the intake velocity decrease considerably and effect the performance? Would it be better to simply remove the butterflies and port match teh intake with out cutting out the material between the butterflies and other openings? As I say I will be doing the diff ratio and stall converter so a loss in low down power and torque is not a big concern.

NOSXR Did you ever get around to fitting the electric water pump? What were the result if you did? Anyways I have gotten my hands onto a couple of goodies and hopefully will have an answer to exactly how much power can be made from the fitment of an electric water pump to these engines. My Plan is to run a remote inline pump (same as below) and make up a plate to replace the stock pump that will retain the stock belt routing. I personally believe that there is possibly 6-10rwkw that could be gained with this mod, anyways I will post up the results once I have the pump fitted, which I am hoping to have done within the next month.

Thank you very much, I thought it would have been the 1.5inch but just wanted to make sure.

Just a quick question. I need a fitting similar to that below, but am unsure what size I need. They are available to fit 1.25inch, 1.5inch and 1.75 inch hoses. I need it for the bottom radiator hose on a Ba Falcon. So does anybody know which size is needed for the bottom radiator hose?

I know that's what they state but whos to say that they nare not lying. I am just a bit paranoid about buying a cheap copy.

I have just been informed that I need a new fuel pump and have located a few on ebay and would just like to know if anybody has purchased from any of the following sellers as I am a little worried about cheap copies. Click here Click here

NOSXR Kust wondering how noticable the loss in low down torque is as I am seriously considering get a set of these new headers but al quite worried as after having installed the nizpro plenum I have already lost alot of low down. As a result I relly would not like to may by car a complete dog, however a new stall convertor may be able to fix the problem as the the top end gains do look very convincing. Anyways congrats on the good results.

I currently have one fitted to my car, it did gain around 16rwkw up high in the rev range but I would suggest that with out fitting cams at the same time it is not worth while as the low down loss is quite significant. However in saying that I feel that with some cams fitted you would see greater gains. I plan on getting some custom grind cams with the next 2 months so will let everyone know how it performs.

Having finally gotten feed up with the whine my diff is making I have decided it is time to have the diff rebuilt (2nd time) and change the ratio. I am uinsure whether to go a 3.9 or 4.11. What would you guys reccommend? Also Is anybody able to reccomend a good place to hace this done in sydney? Thanks

Just thought I would throw up a couple of pics of my engine bay, I dont have any current pics of the exterior but will try to get a couple in the next few days.

NOSXR have you got an electric waterpump in development have you, because I have of recent thought about doing this myself. I know that I could always buy the davies craig universal electric water pump and fit that but I would but rather mount one where the factory one is mounted. I would more then likey try mountingsomething similar to this: So maybe within the next 4 months I may have one fitted, if this become reality I will be sure to let every one know. Cheers

The codes did only store once each, I have recently changed the o2 sensor to a new one so would be surprised if the sensor is faulty. Anyways thanks for the help.

I have just had my car recently serviced and a couple of error codes showed up. Can anybody help out and tell me exactly what they mean? P1131-63 Lack of Ho2s11 switch on sensor P1132-63 Ho2s11 not switching correctly Thanks in advance.
