I had the same thing happen to me. Was driving down Princess Hwy, and this blueprint XR6T came racing down and pulled beside me. At 80k's he went down a gear and ripped away well over 100km/h + Then he slowed right down to at least 60 for me to catch up and did this again! 4 times...!!! Then he lowered his window, and gave a smile and spun off to the distance. I knew it was a cop in the first place, with heavy tinted windows and shade screens to hide the back blue and red lights, he even had two FPV stickers on the back either side... Rob... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Would this not be considered entrapment, and therefor not legal. Maybe once, but 4 times, WTF. Seems a pretty low act. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Too much Entrapment does not apply here. Its only relevant to "The Bill". This does not mean that what was done was fair or right, but "entrapment" doesn't come into it. If you were issued with a penalty notice in this instance my suggestion would be to go to court and explain the behaviour to a magistrate. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Rob what suburb were you in? Are police officers allowed to go over the speed limit without there lights on?

Yes GTI-Rs have SR20DET's with quad throttle bodies and are easy to get good power out of. They also have the BBQ Grill on the bonnet. (TMIC) I dont mind them myself.
-
That looks great Would look nice with a DJR too!!
-
Yes true stay away from animation. I used the Fifth element "Superbit" and The Nutty Proffessor 2 BTW Nutty 2 is fullscreen 16.9 and has great colors.
-
Sony is working on a new screen that will allow this. Cant wait.
-
DaveO hunt down a copy of the fifth element on SUPERBIT. HMV sell them superbit is a high quality recording, Go to the part when the planet is being shot by nukes. take note on how each of the PJ's make the background stars. you should see other colors in the back ground if its good enough. This will sort out the toys from the real PJs ill post a pic of the part it you want me too.

Sorry off topic! Kill list Gixxa 600? What do you drive?? and was he going the same way?
-
WOW that is awsome! I love the way you have put in the storage area for your comps and DVDs. My next house will have a something like that! im using a formal Dinning/Lounge room atm.

certainly is a nice pic... although I tried to take one just then, and can't find a digi TV station that doesn't have a watermark on it's broadcast... what program was that you watched?? HDTV or SD- DTV?? ta.. I have started a new thread, chek out my setup.. taken a while to get where it is, still a bit to do too.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ok that photo was taken by an AVS forum member in the US. I posted it coz it rocks and give a good idea of what the HT does The photos down the bottom are taken from a DVD at my house,.......on a Kodak 3.2mp digi. As for the Sharp being a great PJ!,.......yes it is, (nearly bought one myself) but dont forget there are alot of infocus PJ's. To compare your Sharp90 to the Infocus "SCREENPLAY" 5700 well that's just silly. LCD's are getting better and dont give you any rainbow effects. DLP's will decrese in rainbow as the color wheel speed gets higher. Anyone looking at buying a PJ should test out that sony I sugested in my first post. $3600 not as good as the HT1000 but worth every cent.
-
This the HT1000 in action digital TV ,.........digital photo ht1000__16_.bmp Also if you want advice on a home made screen PM me,..........bit of work though.
-
Ok ill find out the PJ I saw last week. It was a sony and was pretty good. LCD too so no rainbows. or Ring Trevor Lee at Trevor Lee's audio (in kew, Victoria). he is the guy who showed it to us, and I was impressed for the money,....... $3600 btw I saw it at an in house shoot out with my model PJ an NEC HT1000. the HT won easy so if you can hunt one down get one. but I think the HT1100 the replacement is $5k+ I looked at the infocus 5700 but think the HT1000 won hands down for pic quality and detail. moslty in regards to black detail. regardless of rez. also, google "AVS forums" for info on PJs

I'm not a big Mundine fan, but I think youll find that there is no MONEY in a Mundine V's Green fight. Not like these international fights!
