  1. Hey, I better start of by saying sorry for stealing your topic title Dan but I thought it was fitting seeing I just started looking through the FPV forum part of the site since I got my new phoon and low and behold you have... EXACTLY THE SAME CAR AS ME !!! And not just to the colour the mags, sunny, leather... Anyway I picked my BF mk 2 up 2 weeks ago 2500 k already (can't seem to stop driving it). Must say I was a bit nervous on getting De Ja Vu, but like my last car (rapid xr6t) I just took a gamble. Pulled of better than I could imagine. Absolutely love the colour especially as quoted by Dan the brown purply tinit on the green paint when the sun is blaring. As most xr6t - typhoon converts would agree it doesn't even feel like the same drive as a turbo at all, a lot better all round, power wise, I was blown away (mainly cause I had all my windows down and sunroof up at the time) but no seriously astonishing power. Any way enough of the small talk here she is ... By the way Dan you have a fine taste in cars as well as all those who read these forums I guess. Cheers Old New Mind the other two cars (they can't help it).. Both nice cars though
  2. My next door neighbour, Told me the minute I rocked up in my new T (don't even think he said hello first). From then I have convinced my two housemates to get on the forums, I have also convinced them to both buy brand new T's. Wasn't hard though.
  3. Cheers I'll give him a PM. As for the brakes PBR's do seem very reasonably priced. I just hope the rims I decide on fit over the brakes.... Thanks for the feedback guys
  4. Hey guys, New to the posting in the forums but I've been reading them for a long time to get an idea of what I want to do with my girl. It's almost off lease now so I have a world of opportunity and the first step is getting a decent set of brakes to pull up quick. I plan to go APS phase 2 or equivalent (maybe 3 when the adrenalin wears off) and I was wondering what brakes are sufficient for power like that and mag sizes to accomadate for the size of the brakes ? Also good guys to deal through (Brisbane/ Townsville QLD) ? Currently deciding between 19 Hp design (shadow chrome) and Zenetti Kaotics (the nice black ones). As a 'rapid' xr6t driver I can only dream of owning a set of 19 phoon wheels... Your opinion would be good. Cheers
