That looks awesome, much better than the R34, which in itself is a sexy machine. As far as the engine goes, it doubt it would be considered a GTR if it wasnt a TT, but a TT V8 would be definatley worth it, but I doubt it. As far as I knew there would be both a V8 and a TTV6 being released. Now only if I could afford one. Dazza.
  5. with the exception of valve springs I suppose. Dazza.
  6. And HgAg was so never. I agree mondie, about time that colour was moved along. Dazza.

    Mk1 Xr6 Turbo

Here is a list of issues I have had with my 2003 mk1 Brake shudder Power Steering leak Leaking radiator (4th one) Altenator problems (3rd one) Intercooler hoses not installed correctly Blown lights (too many to remember) Interior near seatbelt wearing away Water pump O ring stuffed Crossover plenum blistering There has been a heap of other small things too, but if you get RACQ or whatever motoring club your state has to do a pre sale check on it they should find if any problems (especially all the leaky bits) are there, just shop around though since there are heaps for sale. Dazza.
  8. the BMC filters RETAIL at about $140.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep, somone got diddled. My K&N was $125. Dazza.

I think a hatch would be the better looker, and those mags would ahve to go, the rest looks yum. Mondie did you get any pics of the car front on? Dazza.
  11. Do you visit Melb often? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Does anyone. Dazza.

  14. my guess is 4k+ About as accurate as I can be. Dazza.
  15. I have just fitted these to my NA XR6 and they do work good. I have got the DBA 4504 at the fronts and 4505 at the back. The pedal feel is much better and they do stop good. I havent had any fade yet but mind you I am still yet to give them a very hard few constant braking sessions. I feel much more confident with late braking now. I have got them with Ferodo pads all around from autobhan when they had the 20% off 3 weekends ago for $800. I dont think they would hold up as good as the PBR kit but if you are not gonna do any track days or anything, I recommend the DBAs. I will post up some photos as soon as I can. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for the info, and yes, please post some pics up, I have a guy that will get me them cheaper than $800 but not a great deal cheaper, and yeah I dont intend on doing track days, I just want something that gets rid of the shudder once and for all. Dazza.

  19. Good Stuff a woman with taste..... Just ignore them... a lot of testosterone around here.... MORE CHICS ON THE FORUMS WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO shazzy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So that brings the grand total upto 2 with a few debatable ones. sh*t they are taking over Dazza.
  20. that's the option I am going to go, how much for the disc's in the 4000 series, I couldnt find any pricies on the website. Dazza.
  21. Shazzy, I didnt realise you were such the Dominering type. Dazza.
  22. This is a little off topic and might sound a little stoopid, but since I dsont have a great deal of knowledge in brakes, I will ask anyway. Can you fit larger diameter rotors to the standard calipers? Dazza.
  23. But he just said the car is an NA, my car has made that same sound since the day I got it, you can hear the coolant bubbling for about 5-10 seconds after shutting down the car, I have never had a problem which has been caused by it (had every otehr problem known to the T though) it sounds like its just hot coolant bubbling back into the resevoir when the motor stops, I dont think its much to worry about. Dazza.

    Modding A Bf

It would be costing them nowhere near as much as the waranty claims on the shoddy build quality, get that under control and modding claims wont be an issue anyway. Dazza.
  25. what you saying?? Lisa is not real? shazzy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, I am sure she is, but it could be a guy posing as a girl as to get more attention. Better call CSI to find out. Dazza.
