How many of you lucky buggers who have already got your cars been able to line up next to an SS at the lights? Has anyone taken theirs onto a drag strip yet, I will be taking mine to a willowbank test and tune ASAP. I will let you know how I go.

I would assume that the ram pod would suffure some heat soak when its been idling, so taking off at the lights may be a tade bit more sluggish after the car has been running long enough to build up some under bonnet temp. But on the flip side at speed acceleration would be improved marginally over standard. Did you also know that most pod filters need to have engineer approval to make sure the intake noise isnt above your states minimum allowable level.

Personally I would wait and demand some discounts or a loan car untill the proper one arrives. Better off getting what you want or you will always be looking at your ride and wishing it was something else.

While eagerly awaiting the arrival of our new baby (The car by the way, not a real kid) My fiance and I are planning a holiday around getting our new ride. We are thinking of taking a trip up through the gold coast hinterland to test out the power this beast has. Even at the posted speed limit it would be a fun drive. Has anyone ever driven the road up through springbrook? Or does anyone have any suggestion on a good long drive in queesnland? What is the best drive your have had in your xr6t so far?

Currently driving a pulsar SSS and just purchased a vx ute with the fiance (her car) Wanted to by a STI but after the xr6t beat it in a recent RACQ comparison, I checked it out and it got the nod. Looks like the $3000 off the price of a new holden (thanks to the Expensive Daewoo credit card) can get stuffed. p.s. The build quality of the vx ute is terrible.

I had my fiance deliberatley jump in front of one on the main road at home. (stoopid I know) The exhaust sounds amazing from outside the car at climbing revs. I think the guy driving was pleased to overtake a brand new Expensive Daewoo ute with a grinning idiot hanging out the passanger window with a smile ear to ear.

Good idea. BMW have done it with the m3 CSL. But it still costs 5 times that of the xr6t

What type of window tint is available from ford on purchase. Find out what type they use for sides and rear then shop elsewhere for it, as it will no doubt be cheaper

then plumbing it back into the intake seems completley pointless. as they both acheive the same result. Dont forget that the air being release back infron tof the turnbo is already pressurised.

Hi all, I ordered my sedan in toowoomba first week of jan. Was told a 2 month wait. Gave the dealer a call a couple of days ago and I am now being told middle of april delivery

Venting the air back in infront of the turbo also keeps the turbo spooled, it makes the vented air more productive instead of just releasing it into the atmosphere.
