  1. Try your nearest FPV dealer, could be a good place to start. Dazza.
  2. It would be silly not to produce that as an AWD car, gives it direct competition to the WRX and EVO's then. That sort of torque and power is wasted through the front wheels, it would need traction control obviously but it would interfer so often I think it would ruin the driving experience. This car does look very very good though, well worth test driving when.if it comes out. Dazza.

The CEO of the company I work for has a Gallardo, you should have seen his face when I told him I know of XR's quicker than his 400k supercar. Dazza.
  4. I dont like the new F6 fog light surrounds, it looks like something has fallen off of them, but those black mags against the yellow and red look awesome. Dazza.
  5. Now theres something that doesnt surprise me, ford service techs making potentially devestating mistakes, its happened to me, and probably a high % of members here. Dazza.

    The Drug Base

Has anyone ever heard of a drug called Base, a friend of mine asked me about it tonight since a friend of his is using it. He said it was a weaker non dangerous (bullsh*t) form of speed, we are just trying to find out about it so we know whats being taken. Any info that can be shared would be appreciated, we tried some web searches but couldnt really find anything useful. Maybe some of the resident boys in blue can help out. Plonky?? Dazza.

  9. I posted some screen shots of my phoon time in a thread here a while back, it was a 5:36, which I have since beat, it isnt hard to go sub 5, but to go sub 5:30 is friggen hard, I did 60 laps to do the 5:31. Dazza.
  10. Why not ring the work number on the bottom and ask whoever answers the phone. Dazza.

    Custom Plates

IMO custom plates that express some wit can be good, but plates like "MYM3" or "HSV" just highlight that the owner isn't too sure what they are driving so they need reminding. I'm not trying to that's just my opinion. Do whatever you like to your own beast. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What a load of crap, if you were driving a M3 or HSV or FPV or whatever, I dont think you would need to remind yourself what you were driving, I have never driven my T and mistaken it for something else. Dazza. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> read his post again fool u might understand it properly this time he meant the owners must be twits if they need plates like "FPV" define their car... dont the badges already state that?!! im with pashen, plates do define a car and make it stand out, BUT just be clever with your plates, most customs nowdays are just pure . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exactly how stupid do you think people are, as if some one doesnt know what car they are driving. His post does say. "that the owner isn't too sure what they are driving so they need reminding." no sh*t that the badges on the car state that, but if you think people put HSV FPV M3 number plates on their cars to remind them, the owner what type of car it is to make them feel important, gratified, special, whatever you have your head shoved 6 feet up your date. Maybe they have them becasue they want them simple as that. Dazza.
  17. I think weighing the cars would be better for a comparo on the cars themselves, DYO brings driver ability into the equation more. Dazza.
  18. spinning exhaust tips. Dazza.
  19. I am only taking a punt mind you, basing it from a mates 650hp RX7 13B turbo, it weighs a little more than yours but is a setup drag car, so assuming his would launch better due to tyres and suspension setup for the strip and not the circuit, your extra grunt and less wieight should run a higher MPH. Though his car does run a stock 12 year old series 5 geabox and it has 9's in it with a proper box, so you never know, but I bet you will be one of the favouritres at the track that day. Dazza.
  20. I will take a punt, depending on launch low to mid 10. Dazza.
  21. Your best bet for rotors would be some replacement DBA ones, either slotted or drilled and slotted, It could still run you close to $800 though with some good pads too. Dazza.

    Bathurst 1000

But we already have a that series. Not enough people follow it. We also have the bathurst 24hr production car race. Dazza.
  23. that's correct mate, DYO stands for "dial your own" designed so that different powered cars can run competitivley in the same bracket. Your circuit slicks wouldnt be as ideal for drag racing as drag slicks would be, but they would be better than street tyres, just need a big burnout. Dazza.
