  2. Lol I bought the first GTX3582R in SA and fitted to a XR6 turbo....everyone said I was mad I purchased the first 6466 for a XR6 turbo also in Adelaide....everyone said I was mad Maybe I should cancel the 6870 T3 1.05 rear coming in 1st quarter 2016
  3. Corner scales out to get all the weights spot on
  4. Don't use the larger hotside piping use the factory one as it will get the boost in quicker and not be a restriction up top
  5. Fit some -10 or -12 breathers do it properly....-8 is too small for these engines anyway.

    I know what you mean with the finish on the garnish....I ended up glass blasting mine and finishing with a wet rub to smooth her out. Epic build mate no stone unturned I like it
  9. I had the 360 fitted to my engine its for cars with high stalls and when loading converter for extended periods of time. It use to be a factory fitment but was stopped after the EL Falcon. You can also get a extra side main cap bolt fitted so each side has 5 of them.....Brad can enlighten you more also on this.
  10. Finished the last major part of the build in the suspension today. XYZ coilover kit front and rear....new lower control arm bushes front/back....new front shocker lower bushes and ball joints. Noticed the calliper slides were not the best operation wise so redid them and fitted some new pads/discs Decided to be lazy and book the car in to have the cradle shifted over about 5-6mm to the drivers side to centre the slicks better and the obligatory all round wheel alignment carried out.

  15. Heinrich Performance & Tuning was my tuner at the time.
  16. It was 17psi of boost through a GTX power on dyno was 390rwkw mph suggested it was about right.

  19. My stocky lasted like 30,000kms....80 passes at track for a best of 10.99 at 129mph. Stock converter also. Tune is important for the trans even with a BTR. In the end I only broke the sprag which is something not normally to break in a BTR.
  20. Fitted a more efficient dual circuit/adjustable PCV valve and AN8 one way valve plus new hoses to the BA The Nizpro coil cover that's glass blasted and rubbed back with fine wet rub looks great in the bay Im glad I removed the traditional catch can setup.
  21. If its in gear under load does it exhibit same signs as revving at idle?
  22. Scored myself a Nizpro rocker cover garnish in excellent condition Ive always wanted one of these covers $125 was to good to pass up.

Just be careful Don with taking the EGT reading as gospel due to the number you get being a combined average of the 6 cylinders....it wont let you know if a cylinder is behind the others so to speak. As for the codes Id say your tuner would be able to nut that out pretty quick and tbh a better option than the open market for a answer Good luck bloke.
  24. I actually prefer 4BAR advertising only ratter understands where I come from here....I think.....he was the first to start saying 3BAR should be used by all a while ago and on a few other occasions as the standard. Many lols make of it what you will.
  25. Are your EGT's a combination of the 6 or individual?
