Quick question, Did you tell AAMI about your mods & did they care? Im doing some work on the T now, and am also insured with AAMI. Will they still insure me, or should I start ringing aroung for new insurance? Thanks, Zaf

Thanks Jeff, The reason I havent posted anything of substance, is that my car is only one month old, I haven't done anything to it yet, and I'm pretty much just trying to read everything on the forum, before I post any dumber questions than I have already posted! Not much substance here to post! I could say something like, "dont park your car under a tree, in which 200 cockys live, the mess is hard to clean up," or " dont drop lit cigarettes on the xr carpet, its not fireproof." that's about all I have to offer the forum at the moment! Back to the topic though, I would have thought that software to tune the factory pcm is a big deal. Isn't that what everyone is hanging on for? So does anyone know any more about it? HI Guys, I won this xede on ebay the other night. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...item=4550657153 I have emailed the seller three times, asking a few q's, both before the auction ended, and after it ended. I have had no replies yet. The description clearly states that it is a plug in module, " no cutting or splicing required". But after reading this thread, I think this maybe BS. Does anyone know this seller, and if so, could you get him to reply to my q's! I dont think I want it if he has lied in the description, and there is no plug in loom. There is a big difference in advertising a product as a plug in, and it actually needed surgery to install. What do you guys reckon? I'm still waiting for an answer from him. Thanks, Andrew.

Uhmmm, no. Not selling anything here. I just called and made a nuisance of myself, so I dont want to call again. I just didn't ask if they were selling it. I dont know anything about it, hence my questions. Are you always this friendly to new members who ask a few questions, albeit dumb ones! (members & questions.) It is tuneable, not just factory flash, if that makes sense. Someone want to call and find out if they are selling it?

Nah its not edit. I called them. I asked twice. They said definitely not edit. Just software to re-flash. But no more info!

HI, MRT apparantly has software to re-flash the oem computer. Its on their site, in the forum here: Mrt link What is this software? Is it available commercially? Anyone heard about it? On another note, has anyone got any thoughts about Hyperflow's new XR6T intercooler? Cheers, Zaf.

I'm picking up my black T ute 03/05 on friday. Left the factory on the 4/3. Paid $42780 with: Leather, pres sound, hard cover + wing, plastics, spats, alarm, company rego, Now have to read the "APS, should I void the warranty" debate!!!!! I'm looking forward to this car. My last snail was on a 12A in an RX4!!! Zaf.
