Ratter do you know what the standard boost is in an FG XR6T?

I just seen in Wikipedia that f6 boost is .91bar(13psi) in the Fg and .64 (9psi)on BA/BF. I can't seem to find the XR6qx boost thpugh

Can waste gate preload affect boost levels?

I read some where it was 11 psi. Don't quote me though.

I have got a gtx3582r running stock boost and tune atm, I am running a very dodgy aluminium flexible pipe in place of the factory intake muffler(waiting the the process west package to come). So technically it should be louder then any muffler delete pipe on the market, yet intake noise is still quiet. For a noise test pull the air filter out of the air box and stall the engine on the torque converter or clutch. The sound you hear would be similar to the sound you would have with a k&n panel filter.

I brought this bracket and it was not a direct bolt on. It still needed to be modified.

How much can you buy it back for?

When I did mine, I put a 36mm valve in there. But I did find the standard hole could be made bigger even with the standard valve as there is a lot of sealing surface(maybe that's enough for the standard compressor). I found my 36mm valve would stick open every now and then, but operating the waste gate a few times while its out of the car can test this. I then removed steel out if the turbine housing until it didn't get stuck anymore. Now shes all sweet. Excellent effort putting this thread together mate.

How can a muffler delete pipe give you more lag?

Putting the IRS assembly under the car at the highest height possible then lowering the car onto the assembly works a treat. Tried and tested many times

I have never found manufacturer figures to accurate. So be careful reading en.

Check the weight of them, I have been told they use a lot of fuel. Anything heavy and on petrol is not good for the wallet. Well so I have found. You can get LPi kits for 2400(bolt on). Plus fitting if needed.

Went to fit exhaust up last night, and the front muffler back didn't fit up to my twin three inch cats. There was no gas for the mig so I am leaving it till tonight. Needless to say the wife was not happy when she went to here auntys today with no mufflers haha.
