  1. Morning wogpot. Big day scheduled?
  2. Quality of components in kits has always been a little less then desirable, and gas has broken down on every gas car I have driven. Although the fuel saving is worth it alone and it always turns back to petrol once it senses a fault so you never actually get stuck anywhere! I was surprised to hear the LPG Injection kits were making more power on the same stock tune as petrol! LPG normally benefits from more advance when it comes to timing. Technically you could also run a bigger turbine housing with less lag then petrol because lpg burns at a higher temperature which equals more exhaust VOLUME. LPG is also more resilient to detonation. So more boost, less lag and cheaper at the bowser makes it worth it for sure. ..I ran a 520hp Boss 290 with 4:11 diff gears on LPG Vapour Inj and it cost less then my wifes Mazda 3 to run..
  3. Could be in. What time?
  4. Champion
  5. I have also been trying to find the difference between the two. I run an auto g6e turbo and am keen to go an gtx4202 to get a lower intake charge temperature. I get the feeling that a gtx4202 on a manual would be a bit laggy but on an auto it would be ok. Would it be a positive move to run a gtx4294?
  6. I am relocating the battery to the boot or other side of the engine bay
  7. Ye mate I have also heard they are a great cooler. I picked mine second hand aswell. Plumbing from nizpro is just under $700. I would be sceptical if he was running water injection before the cooler or running water onto it. I have seen intakes start to corrode because of the minerals in the water.
  8. A/R sorry!
  9. A/R sorry!
  10. What A/F ratios do think is best? Are you comparing the same turbos here? Coz I think there is different a/f compressor wheels for the gtx35.
  11. Also neotim, what a/f is your compressor wheel? And do you think an a/f of 1.02 will flow much difference to the .63 and .82? Would there much more or less lag between the three ratios ?
  12. I'll give it a go, worst comes to worse I will pull the turbo off again.
  13. Hey neotim, nice work. What is the part number of the walbro pump your using. I would like to go the same pump.
  14. I think the GTX4202R slides into the standard ford housing, but that could be wrong.
  15. Depends on what you like Agent Orange, my brother in law is running a GTX42 in his BF ute and loves it. I asked him how much lag it has and he said "none". He has standard diff gears and a standard ratio 6 speed manual box. Clearly he likes driving in a lower gear at the same ground speed then other people. Then I read last night on this forum that people have chosen to run GTX3576r because they don't appreciate the 2800rpm engine speed needed to drive a GTX3582r to 18psi. The Turbo G6 that I own now is my first, but I used to drive a BA GT with cams that would give me the most torque at 4500rpm. My tuner called me mad as it was my daily driver, and the missus hated the bunny hopping through car parks and turned every romantic night into a fight night. But I LOVED it. Is that not, all that matters?
  16. Nice thread. When looking through waste gate hole did it look like there was enough room to put a 36mm drill bit through the hole? If so could you do this of yourself?
  17. I just rang NIZPRO, the kit was worth $1995. In my opinion all coolant heat exchangers have offset inlet and outlets so the coolant travels across more of heat exchangers surface area. Therefore "technically" the air charge inside the nizpro cooler will stay inside the cooler longer and travel across more surface area. This has got to lead to a cooler charge... Doesn't it? Maybe I am justifying myself :beta:
