Yesterday My mate and I fitted the Attic Ladder and added flooring to the storage space. Very happy with the out come and had to be done. I would have been stupid to leave that area wasted space is now good storage area. With a little bit of modifying for the opening the job went smoothly. Pics below The flooring down

Funny bugger Steve.........LOL I think at least another 2 months before moving in. You are right you will be always doing something for many years to come. Old place took me 10 years to get it where I wanted it and the following year we sold up. New place haves heaps to do once we move in, Lawns, Gardens, more retaining walls, concrete comes to minds now but im sure there will be sh1t loads more.

Oh yeah Wilko looks great mate. Very jealous of you both moving way faster than me. It's been 7 months now for us, just want to move in. Wilko colourbond roof is extra? Our last house was a kit home and we went colourbond and they worked it our to be cheaper because we didnt need storm clips and got some money back. I wouldn't have any other roof, colourbond is great.

Did some house shopping and got these Emergency back up lights got 3. Had them in my old house and worth every cent. They move forward and now use LED When power goes out you have light no need looking for candles or torches anymore.

Some very good reading about Data cable. From what I understand that I should run CAT6 if I can rather the CAT5. I'd rather spend the money and do it right first time and not have to worry about it again down the track. Data cable should be a minimum of 55mm away from any electrical cable. What happens or what do you do when running to entertainment area? Also do I call someone in just to run the data and let my electrician focus on everything else.? I have a security company coming in for home security alarm should I get them to run my data cable. Anyway here are some pics from the past 2 weeks because nothing was done at all last week. Roof The condition of my Alfresco doors/track Scaf forms the rest of the house ATM not much to look at.

Last night we held our Seniors Presentation night a bloody fun night with plenty drinks had. Well the night was even better with myself picking up the clubs second top award the Specail Achievement Award. SWEET!! My name now stands along side of today's Australian, Nutri-Grain Ironmen and Coolangatta Gold champions and current Nutri-Grain Ironmen Athletes. Ali Day, Hayden White and Ben Carberry all from our club and on the trophy. Feeling good right now.

Because we're drinking and dont have time to forum chat. If I want to do that I'll stay home and drink and talk to the wife but that why we go out. To get away........LOL Same tonight Senior Presentation OH YEAH!!

What Pissing me off is that no one has been on site all week. Scaffolding up and by contract I have paid for 6 weeks. Anything over 6 weeks and I have to pay for it, says the contract. Will guess what MOFO builder not happening. Every day and everything you do Mr Builder I document including times. Whilst im still on a rant just received invoice for external walls. Here's something Mr Builder how about you finish the external walls first before asking for money just like the windows that I have paid for and 5 still not in and 3 missing glass.

I rang foxtel the other day and told then building new house and do you want to send your installation person out before gyprock goes up. Foxtel lady said for me to get the electrician to do it. HMMMM ok. I then asked and if I dont how much will it cost when we move in.......... $100. sold ill wait. The electrician will cost more than that.
