If the shudder you're referring to is the steering wheel bobbing back and forth, haul it back to the dealer and tell them to fix it as that'd be uneven rotor wear which is a warranty issue which normally would mean them replacing the rotors. May as well get what you can from them before you replace 'em. Thanks newl, I'll just might try that. I thought that brakes were not covered under warranty. The car is still under new car warranty and has almost 36,000. The other day I checked the brakes and found on the drivers side front rotor a grove spaning the disc right in the middle about 1mm wide and I don't know what from, think it maybe caused by uneven wear from the pads. YES or NO? Either way I'll hit Ford up.
