Go back and ask your dealer where you pick the car from and ask what do there use to clean the cars with. By the sound of things I think they might be using Enjo Car Glove. Not a good choice as I had one and it destored the duco of my old XR8 Ute. Enjo sent someone out to have a look and even he said that's bad, in the end Enjo paid for a repolish. Find out cause they just might pay for a polish. Now I do it my self and it comes up sweet. Aaron

Recieved Email from Herrod's this morning after I had received the wrong one. I asked Herrod's for the original lower grille but I received the receased lower grille. Herrod said that there don't make the original lower grille any more, the 1 that sits at the front for some time now. BUGGER. But they will refund the grille for me if I wont. that's very nice a Herrods to do that. I'll take your's off you hands Slymeat Aaron

G'day all, Since last time I regarding the Typhoon. The car is Dec04 - 11mth rego - Shockwave - 4000kms - Leather and it's got Brembo. Dealer was asking $55,000 I did get them down to $50,000 not much but it's better than nothing. The dealer is asking, my car + $27,000 ($23,000 for mine). Q1- Would you take this offer or pass on it.? Q2- Pay $27,000 but get them to but some extras on? Why I'm asking is that I still think that I"m not getting a good deal. A reply would be great. Hello all, I have to report back with some good and bad news. Think I'll start with the bad. Well it's not to be. I followed XR6TU advice and many others, but I stuck to my guns and didn't budge with the trade in difference and so did the sales man, but I did get them to throw in Mats - Sports Steering Wheel - and a Track Day plus transfer fee. After all of this they came back with a change over price of $27,000 but that was no where near what I was hoping for. Never mind I'll just have to wait I guess. Now to the good news. OMG what a car! I have never expreience anything like that before. It was beautiful car to drive in every aspect. Now I can see why all the Typhoon owners love it so much. Now I really do want one. Once again thanks heaps everyone. Aaron

G'Day all, today I received a call from local Ford dealer saying they have a, Ba Typhoon MII - Built Dec 04 - Lightingstrike - 11,000km for $47,000 They have not yet seen my car. I'll be going in this Thrusday to negotiate. Does this sound real and a good price? Aaron

I recently bought a runout T I had a N/A XR6 with 26,000 k's, tow bar, matts, spats & tint otherwise standard in imaculate condition to trade. Was offered $22000 which I though was a bit low so I sold it privatly for $24000 I got a BA Mkii with all the stuff listed in my sig for $35600 drive away. This was through an employee discount program that saved me around $5000 making the T worth roughly $40500 drive away. Taking mine as an example as it's similar to what you looked at, $40500 for the T take away the cash you had to put in $22500 and they are effectivly offering you $18000 for your car. They have given you this amazing trade in figure then inflated the price of the new one. Flukeyluke was spot on. Id tell them " You can suck my balls!!" Thanks for that info mate. Today I went to another Ford dealer and got the same deal as I did yesterday but this time I said (suck my balls). Rapid BA Turbo built May 05 - 6M - Leather - premo sound with 21km the dealer said $52,000 drive away, this is where I said they can and laughed. Think I'll give up and just stick to driving my super fast N/A but I reall wont a T Aaron

Rather have premo brakes...and tell those goons to go and fugg themselves vik...they like to think were all stupid I all most upgraded my brakes last week to dba but thought I'll try ford first before I brought them. At $54,000 they can put in premo brakes for free

I'm going back this Thrusday to put my car in for new front rotors under warranty, so I'll have another talk with them then. To me that's no run out deal if they drop it down around the $36-$38,000 I'll take it, (wishful thinking) nothing wrong in trying. Really would like to have premo sound. Today I went into my local Ford Dealer asking about BA Turbo run out. First of all I took one for a test drive. After a short time went back, I ask what price would I get for my car. The Turbo I test drove was Shockwave leather 18's STD sound built Feb 05 with 200km My car, BA XR6 N/A Black - Tint - Premo sound - Factory Sat Nav - Lowered - 36,000km built Dec 03 Sales dude went in spoke to his boss in which the boss came out check the car. They came back with $31,500. I thought that's pretty good I'm happy with that price. They all go away talk for alittle, sales man said, My car plus $22,500 and the turbo is all your's. (Thinking to myself). So That makes the Turbo $54,000. NO THANKS at that price I'll be better of buying a BF model for that price. What is your thought's on this deal. Thank You Aaron
