We have mitsubishi ducted and split air conditioners Ducted in main area, kitchen, lounge main bed room and all the kids rooms x3. Kids rooms are zoned Split to media because unable to duct work into roof space over media. total cost for both systems 13k

A/C unit is 13.5kw cooling 16kw heating

Nice job Wilko looks great mate. If you can go Ducted for the A/C well worth it and shouldn't cost much more than having a few split systems in. All you need to do is make sure you zone the rooms off.

All fixed and took all of 5min. They said the Amp failed (see photo) you think a epic fail I say. They will be back when they reopen in a few weeks to replace the cover. Thanks for help everyone.

From what ive read here and been told. I say they have used 2.5mm and not a 6mm and a Amp that cant hod the power levels to run the A/C. Sparky said should run 42A.

All sorted. The electrician called and said they did not install the A/C wiring. They only use 42A and run 6mm wiring. He told me he can come out today at a cost of $400 plus parts. I'll pass that onto the A/C company...........NOPE! A/C people will be out first thing tomorrow morning. I'll get more photo's tomorrow of the inside

I'll be on there back again today and all day or everyday until it is fixed. The temp is going up all week with temps in the mid to high 30's, wife wont make it hates being hot and I'm not telling with that sh1t. Hot and cranky wife not a good sign. @ROB83R last night first of 3.

that's total crap. Who could they even think it's acceptable to rent out a house like that. From the above message we have received more messages from the builder and tried to put the blame back on us and asked where are we getting the advice from. Did I forget to mention that my brother in-law is head of department at Newcastle Uni, Senor Lecturer professor in ELECTRICAL & COMPUTER ENGINEERING and you guys but they dont know that. Thanks guys. Thanks for the feed back everyone and the great offers, one day I'll take them up. Yesterday rang and left message with A/C company and sent email to builder (got auto reply) and just left Facebook message to builders page. They got back to us saying if it's urgent we'll give you contact details to the electrician. First word I sent "URGENT" sent the photo's no reply back yet. I'll keep you posted. I told the wife if we get anything else wrong with the house we're selling.

I've been telling the wife for years lets go away over Christmas for that very reason. This is why next year we're going away, either cruise over seas or just a few weeks in the van. She has now seen the light and thinks it's a great idea.........YA!!
