  1. I had a vibration only at a certain speed. turned out to be the rear falken tyres had gone off. one of them wernt exactly round. your car being so new I doubt you have this problem but could be worth trying different rims and tyres.

    New Dbas

I have the same combo (front only, rear is still standard) and I get the same squeal on light braking also. doesnt happen all the time. it doesnt concern me too much. but I do like the fact that the hpx pads dont give off alot of dust
  3. ive had the nizpro exhaust for a year now. Mick at pitlane had a hard time installing it, I had to go back a few times cause it just kept hitting. after welding an extra bracket and a bit if heating and bending it actually fits. its still does hit sometimes when driving in the pouring rain but I put up with it. but all in all I do like the sound as its not too loud and looks really neat.
  4. pdftown.com has the BA workshop manual for download.
  5. I have just noticed on the Penrite site they no longer recommend their oil for the ZF's. infact I cant find SIN ATF in the products page anymore.
  6. payment is through a bank transfer. email a sales rep directly and ask for a quote and if you decide to go through with the order they will email you the bank details.
  7. ive bought tires from tirerack.com. postage to melbourne is about $325, they use fedex. it still works out cheaper than buying tires from here.
  8. my car is a bf2 and had the 0.9 factory plugs but it was recommended to change these to 0.8 by the tuner before I had the tune done. they are exactly the same as the standard plug except for the 0.8 gap.
  9. part number for the NGK Iridium 0.8 gap is BKR6EIX. last time I bought mine was from Bursons at about $16 each.
  10. I have had the same mods done but with a stage 1 cooler and a 12lb actuator. car made 351 rwkw at 14 psi. I would recommend the 12lb actuator.
  11. problem solved. turns out the rear tyres were buggered. bubbles started forming on the sidewalls. crap falkens, never again. when I had the falkens on the front the steel belt in the inside came apart and caused massive wear in the inside part of the tyre. got my new michelin ps2 fitted to the rear and no more vibrations.
  12. thanks guys. I didnt think the rears whould make the car shake. ill see if I can chase up some other rims to put on and check. I cant put the rears on the front as of got the BF GTP 19's with different offset. the tyres are on their last legs so I maybe they got out of shape. ill keep u posted.
  13. as the title says when I cruise at about 95-100 car begins vibrate. I can feel it thru the seats and the review mirror amd sun visor will shake also. ive put different rims on the front but makes no difference. while I had the car jacked up I inspected the tail shaft it still has the factory weights on it as I thought they mightve come off. could the centre bearing on the tailshaft be stuffed? I also noticed the centre diff bush is split on one if its sections. I will get it replaced with the superpro version, but would this cause the car to shake at cruising speed? car is an 06 bf2 xr6t auto with 351 rwkw.
  14. yep mines the same. its done it since new so I never worried about it. feels like it slips for a second before grabing the gear.
  15. my Nov 06 BF MKII xr6T has vented rears, not sure of size. ford probably changed over during the MKII
  16. what about penrite sin atf? would this be suitable for the zf service refill? this is what penrite say on their website about it. "Suitable for service fill of Mercedes 5 and 7 speed autos, ZF 4, 5 and 6 speed autos. MERCON®V (Ford M2C202B), GM DEXRON®-IIIH, Allison C-4/TES-295, Chrysler MS 9602 (ATF+4®), ZF TE-ML14B/C, JASO 1A ." 18. ive just paid for mine. the sooner everybody pays, the sooner we all get them I guess.
  19. yeah once the fuse was changed all is fixed and back to normal. for me, the car idled an ran perfectly fine when the light was on.
  20. before I took the car back to ford this morning, I thought ill check the fuses, theres one labled HEGO which is the o2 sensor and guess what, it was blown. turn up to ford and tell them this but they still wanted to keep the car so they can test it out. my suspicion is, when I did the manifold bolts the wiring for the sensor mustve been touching the heat shield and melted the wires. yesterday I seen the mechanic take the heat sheild off so he mustve seen this and changed the sensor.
  21. well it turns out replacing the o2 sensor didnt fix it. the code still comes up but not straight away. they tell me they can see that both o2 sensors are working through their computer so they arnt sure whats causing the fualt code to come up. they tried resetting and reloading the software but same outcome. cars is goin back tomorrow.
  22. The verdict from ford is the O2 sensor after the cat is faulty, and of course they dont have any new ones in stock so I have to go back later today. They tested this with an O2 sensor from another car apparently.
  23. that's exactly word for word in my BF2 owners manual.
