I have been looking at a intercooler upgrade for a while and after some mixed comments about the fitment of the ASE and PWR intercooler I was looking at intercoolers that Perform well and are truly direct replacement. The only 2 I have come across that also claim that are "direct fit" replacement and also "Bar n Plate" like the one from APS are from Rajab racing (http://www.rajabracing.com.au/productsfi.html) and Hyper Flow (http://www.hyperflow.com.au/galford.htm) Both are around $1300 so are about $500 more then the tube/fin ones around at the moment. What I want to hear is comments from people who fitted them and the results and if they are worth the extra money ? I do plan to go over 300RWKW down the track and want to make sure I make the right investment the first time.

I have used testking for Cisco Exams and they are great
-
Wow, that’s a great result, with the stock CAT in place, I think I better invest in a ASE IC, but some members gave back negative comments, but if it worked fine for you then that’s good.
-
That’s a good price, is he supplying the injectors? As I got the same but got them myself from the US as they were half the price, but all up I have the same with trans cooler and injectors, its a good price and you will get good power.

I got my car done there, good tune no problems and 266 RWKW with injectors.

If its Vixen Red get it, they are a nice colour

I agree, were are in the process of looking for a Network Engineer with Cisco and Microsoft skills ($60K plus super) and basically I have not seen a resume that is worth calling in for a interview. They all claim they have Cisco certifications and Microsoft certifications and in interview they would be lucky to tell you how to configure a ip address on Ethernet interface. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe if you wearn't asking for so little, you'd get better results. Serious, in this day in age, an engineer with certified Cisco and Microsoft - even base CCNP and MSCE should be getting more than that. I'd be looking for $75k + super. Unless you're hiring someone straight out of TAFE/CIT/whatever tech, and they have no work experience. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have a Degree in Electrical Engineering from Sydney Uni and I’m Cisco and Microsoft certified, I have about 5 years experience in the filed. A good uni graduate will get about $40-45k someone with about 2 years experience is going to get $60k, to earn $100K plus you really need to know your sh*t and be able to generate about twice that in billing revenue if you are in the I.T services space. I have come across candidates with MSCE/CCNA that have no real world experience and no communications skills and think they are worth $60k, its a joke as they cant even do half the things they put down on there resume, but I’m more then willing to hire and pay good money for someone who can generate income and maintain customer relationships (these people are hard too find)

Hi 1. if you are going to get injectors and the flash tuner you need to get it custom tunned. The tuner will install the injectors and should also gap the plugs an provide a custom tune, this should cost around $500-$600, you should make about 260RWKW 2. Ford will know you have different injectors Hope that answers some of your questions

awesome good on ya boys! I tried ringing ASE 5 times today and it rang off the hook every time they better be making alot of the buggers! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The instructions they provide on how to install the intercooler are they in pdf format so they can be posted on the forum ? it would be good to have a look at them. did u get thru to them about the intercoolers ?
-
What do you think some one will charge to fit the intercooler ?
-
I would think fitting a larger cooler would guarantee that the airflow temps entering the engine would always be constant temp like on a cold winter night and you would not have the performance hit with higher inlet temps I.e. heat soak. I think there is less pressure drop across this system compared to the stock unit which would lead to over boost, but if you already had the Edit I would expect the system target of say 10psi would be controlled. I plan to get mine fitted with a new exhaust and retuned at the same time to take advantage of the new components and maybe tuned to 12psi and no more then 300 RWKW

How close does the intercooler sit in front of the raditor ? at the moment a auto trans cooler betwen the factory intercooler and raditor and dont want to have to relocate it. if it sits the same distance as the factory cooler and doesnt go any further back then its fine. 1: Trough Lolly 2:Cobramad 3. I'm interested in that price, what do they charge to deliver ?

More specifically RapidChris, take a look at http://www.bestmufflers.com/Information/Cu...yno_Results.htm I gained 13rwkw with the 3" Xforce system, took a long time to develop the exhaust and it is a great product. The car will NOT go into limp mode due to this exhaust, and I have driven around with this system for a good 4 - 5 months with no problems what so ever (PS, I have to say, if you do go any free'er flowing then this system then as Ghea said, it will go into Limp. The Xforce system is just the right size). Further more, the Xforce system has potention to go up to approx 270rwkw if you later add a chip/edit etc and sounds great. Freedy, are you in syd? If so and you want to hear what the 3.5" system sounds like, let me know and you can hear mine. Regz Dean <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Dean yeah I'm in sydney, not far from bestmufflers actually. I'm interested in the new xforce system and your car was the development car so I would be keen in hearing it. when will you be at bestmufflers next ?
-
what did you pay for it installed ? you can get it for $1250 installed
-
X-force will be releasing a new exhaust for Cars with 280RWKW plus, it will be a 4inch dump off the turbo with 4 inch cat, then a single 3.5 system with either dual mufflers or single muffler out the back, should be ready in a few weeks and will be less then most of the complete systems out there. the price of there 3inch system has dropped to $1250 installed and is good for stock cars, go to www.bestmufflers.com

I got EDIT and the injectors done, I got 266RWKW, with a hi-flow cat, you should be getting more. Who is fitting the exhaust for you ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> getting it all done at intune. I dont know whether to get a xforce system or a customer system, but I hear the xforce is good enough. im only after 270kw at the rears anything more is a bonus Its a MK1 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I got my car done there, might drop john a call as I'm looking at a intercooler and exhaust for my next stage and 300RWKW, let us know how you go.

Hi Peter any more info on the intercooler being made by PAC PERFORMANCE the XR6T

I'm interested in the direct bolt on intercooler as shown on RAJAB's website as well, I think it will be one of the better ones as it uses a garret core, I have emailed then about price and specs, still waiting for a reply.
