  1. Nice result fill, so you running 15psi to make 303RWKW compared to 12psi to make 273RWKW before the springs and actuator ? is the purpose of the actuator to control and hold boost ? Fred
  2. The MetalCat 3.5 inch is good, I organised a group buy a few months back and got the price to $280 delivered. they RRP for about $398 or something close to it.
  3. My Plates are FR33DY it was the closest match I could get to Freddy with out having to pay more the $130 extra a year. I got them as I wanted something different on my new car then the standard plates.

    Yeah I might, I think it starts at the Shell at kingsgrove, a few M3's, AMG's and Sti's are going already, might drive past but not go all the way to the gong.

  9. There is nothing wrong with them, they flow but the 968's are the correct "replacement". From my tuners comments they sounded like a b**ch to get running 100% as the basic 42lb paramaters in the EDIT are not correct and needed fine tuning for light throttle as it was running to rich, this has all been sorted so anyone with these injectors and wanting EDIT custom tune , they have been downpacked with tunehouse, but they still think the 968's are the best way to go.

I dont think this is such a great result.I'm sure the car is great to drive but I have seen this sort of figures from stock cars tuned by nizpro(manual 271rwkw-auto255rwkw)with edit only.you have all these other mods for 20kw? ← for a auto this is a good result, the injectors in there are not the greatest I wish I had got bosch 968's but the truth is in the 1/4 mile which I will have to run, I have seen tunes from nizpro pushing 13psi to make ~ 290RWKW not sure if it was manual or auto, I’m happy with 10psi to make 273rwkw, I think if I ask for a more extreme tune 300RWKW would be quite easy on 13 psi but I will need to upgrade my valve springs. plus my intercooler is the wog cooler using standard plumbing, I don’t think its any better then the stock one as it most likely has the same pressure drop , but it looks good, these mods have not given me the power its the actual tune which has at some points given me 45RWKW more when needed.
  11. I go to Jim at Tunehouse http://www.tunehouse.com.au/ My car was running crap from another Sydney tuner and Jim fixed up all my issues. I'm still running 10psi, making 273RWKW and a nice 45RWKW gain down low, my fuel economy has improved and I could not be happier, we might push a few pounds of boost and get it to 300RWKW as I want that magic number
  12. Not to start anything, but aren’t the injectors at there limit around 250RWKW ? I understand there is better CAT and larger intercooler but this would not allow for such an increase, no long ago 290-300RWKW on stock injectors was blasphemy
  13. The stock exhaust on the BF turbo's is very different to the BA's. The new cat design allows for much more flow than the BA's, hence the higher power potential of the BF's in stock trim. New cat design would probably outflow the BA unit by 30-40rwkw comfortably. The BA cat really is a shocker by design. I doubt the 253rwkw on Nizpro's dyno is sus, they've had a couple read that kind of power output. Rather, it's not a Dyno Dynamics unit, so power reading are not comparable to what you're used to. The power gained is a minimum one would expect from a tune on the BF. ← M6 XR6T are the CATS still single entry with dual outlets in design like the BA's are they better the MetalCats ?
  14. Top Result, so you are running 13psi to make the power, damm the stock cars on 9psi making 253Rwkw no wonder they won motor mag aussie performance car, quick question about the phoon for anyone, do they have the same injectors as stock BA turbo's ?

  16. fill just get a independent dyno run done else where and confirm they have giving you what you paid for, I thought I had 266 RWKW and it was really 248 RWKW on another dyno, but like they say all dyno's read different, just call Jim and see when his dyno is free and ask what it will cost for a dyno run.   17. jp300+ we need to organise to go to WSID, so we can run my car with jim's tune, since I have never been to WSID I might even let you have go and see what times you can get in my car after I have the first go of course

Jim at tunehouse did a great job on the car, half a tank and just over 200km, I have never seen this before he also adjusted the shift/line pressure on the auto which feels great under full throttle, I have posted my dyno sheet as well, from it you can see the massive power gain especially down low, all still on a 10psi, I think at some points there is like 45rwkw more and sh*t lot more torque all over the range. I want to practice my launches with my Gtech, as on my old tune I was doing 13.3 I’m hoping for good results, but I will need to get wheel spin under control as I did practice last night the car went sideways I will take it to WSID, I might even let jp300+ give it a hit as he has more experience, and see if he can get a beter time them me.
  19. well its been interesting, my first edit tune(done about a year ago) which I thought I had 266RWKW was really only about 248RWKW, after my new tuner saw the tune the A/F was like 11:1 at idle running very rich and then very lean upto, we fitted all the parts and did a custom retune, there was some issue with the scaling for the racetronix injectors but once that was under control we managed about 40RWKW gain in the midrange and about 20RWKW at the top end, A?F are very safe and light throttle is great as I have already managed 120Km for less then a 1/4 tank were before I was getting 300KM from a full tank, I will post dyno graphs once I scan them.
