  2. I have the same issue at the moment, after driving the car for about 5 mins the ABS and TC light come on. I have had the car for over 2 years amd with edit about 18 months. The car is still under warranty so I will be calling ford to get it looked at. Is it a problem they can reject to fix under warranty due to having EDIT ?
  3. I have a G-TECH meter which measures acceleration and 1/4. I have managed a 4.4 sec 0-100 and 12.8 Sec 1/4 time. I will need to take it to the track to confirm the 1/4 time but if your doing a 1/4 time in the 12s I would assume the 0-100 to be sub around 4.5 sec or less.
  4. It hurts to think that when you buy these new at around $43k that after 4 years with interest repayments it would have cost you around $50k, add the cost of mods and you are close to $55k. I would not even bother selling it for $18k I would just keep it (that's if it will even get $18K). Lucky my car is used for about 80% work so I can claim the cost of running it, and share the cost with the Tax man. If I could go back 2 years I would have held out for a year and got BA Mk1 second hand for $25K and saved a bit of cash.. I think I might wait to the Terriorty is a few years old and get myself one cheap as a private sale.... lucky its not a HSV GTS, new 100k and VE is only $80k, this will really stuff resale value.

When should you upgrade the pump so not to get fuel stravation ? ← Going from your sig, I would say you are there NOW, the factory fuel pump has in inbuilt (factroy non adjustable) relief valve, this will release at anywhere from 400-550kpa fuel presure, stock cars wont ever see that presure because of the rising rate (boost controled) fuel reg on the rail, BUT, increase the boost, and the fuel regs relief presure goes up too, the factory pump may let go at any time. you need to lift your foot (no boost and hence lower fuel reg setting ) to alow the fuel pump relief to "reseat" and away you go, if you dont recognise the syptoms of no fuel, a lean condition will happen, and we now all know the results. I found mine let go after 1.5 gear changes at WOT, it didnt matter if it was 1-2nd or 2-3, when held flat for more than a few seconds, the feul pressure just dropped and the car died/pinged etc, it is MUCH MUCH better with the Walbro, and can do like I said 90% of my driving no worries, but I wont be going to the drags again or going over 230kph without doing a surge (2liter) and big Bosh fuel pump, for a while I was blaming the tune, low fuel level etc, but it is the pump, end of story. so for a quick question, a long answer, which I hope helps. ← Thanks for information

  8. I'm getting 273RWKW @10 PSI, this not a agressive tune but my daily driver, it gets me 10l/100km higway . I know of some cars getting around 320RWKW@10PSI, but they have better intake and exhaust setups.

  10. You should get 270RWKW easy, Jim at Tunehouse has tuned my car and a lot of other XR6T, give him a call or drop in. He tuned my car, and has kits available depending on your budget and power output. He has done a few Nizpro and lot of AVO kits, and also supplies and fits Xforce 4inch Exhaust systems. Tell him Freddy recommended you have a chat to him about what he can do for your budget and he will take car of you.

  13. I thought I would give my opinion as I’m of a Lebanese Christian heritage. I have many family members in Lebanon. I do not support Hezbollah or what they have done. My family are from the Christian area and about 2 hours from the capital so they are not in direct danger. What Israel has done to Lebanon for the last 30 years is nothing short of criminal. The Lebanese Govt is powerless to control Hezbollah as it is heavily armed and backed by Syria and Iran. Instead of attacking the Lebanese peoples core infrastructure they should be concentrating on the South, Syria and Iran as they are the instigators, all that is happening is Lebanon becomes the poor country that hosts the WAR for these other 3 countries to attack each other. I just hope that too many innocent lives are not lost.
  14. It was a 3 car pile up, the guy in front of me locked up and hit the guy infront of him. I then hit him. it was my fault. first accident in 10 years....
  15. Got a call today from AAMI, they are going to send my car to a prestige car repairer. It’s at the mascot assessment centre. They needed more information in regards to the SS inductions CAI, aftermarket intercooler and transmission cooler. I gave them the details of my tuner so hopefully they will get the same parts fitted, or get them to reorder and fit them. He said it’s about $8k in damages so far with out factoring in the intercooler. I just want it coming back likes it’s new.
  16. If they decide not to send it to my nominated repairer can I object and take the issue up with them? I don’t want a half ass job and want it to be done 100%, I know AAMI offers lifetime on repairers but I want to make sure if there are any mechanical issues it goes to my mechanic... and not need to keep going back cause of someone’s sh*t work. so the font bumper is around $1600 And the intercooler about $1500, It looks like its going to be over $8k in work... lucky for insurance
  17. All items were listed on the policy, I want to make sure I get my mechanic to do the work as they he is familiar with the car and has fitted the aftermarket parts. He has recommended a panel shop. it looks worse then it was, it was still drivable but all the plastic parts got smashed. I’m just worried they will not do a good job if it gets taken to another place.
  18. Hi All I have had a front end accident; the car is currently at the AAMI service centre. I have ask for my smash repairer to give a quote and AAMI has also got one of their repairers to quote, it’s still currently with the assessors, before they allocate the job. My question is does anyone know what the ford price is for a front mount intercooler, bonnet, bumper and complete front end ? If you had a transmission cooler and aftermarket intercooler fitted will AAMI replace all that ? Or just put on a factory intercooler ?

  24. did not go to autotech, went to tunehouse and got a custome tune
  25. just replaced the factory cat with a 3.5inch MetalCat, Jim from Tunehouse did this for me.
