  1. It will be good to see the graphs, I have a completely stock T and I’m not planning on moding the exhaust yet just the EDIT, I hope I can get 240RWKW at 9psi.
  2. This is what I hope to achieve. Good result, You still retain the standard CAT ? Would replacing the factory CAT with a high flow unit yield extra power or at this stage it is fine for the power level? So the system maxed at 9psi, what reached the limits first the injectors or springs? Did you change the shift firmness on the auto? if so how does it feel ?
  3. I got the same, I was excited when I got my car, but I paid $240 and installed it myself, takes a bit of work but it does look good. where did u get it from ? Intune motorsport ?

  5. ch0pper, where did you get the muffler done ? with the high-flow cat at $0 did you bash the cat ?
  6. I would go EDIT with Custom tune ($1700), this should get you to around 240RWKW, and this is pushing the stock injectors and CAT to the limit. Add a trans cooler if its auto. You can get injectors for around $500, but remember custom tune is around $300-$500 and you will need a retune with the new Injectors, so I would wait to you can afford the EDIT + Tune + Injectors = $2200, and a get good safe 260RWKW, if you have a auto add a trans cooler before you do any mods. My first stage is going to be EDIT only I want to get the max from the factory setup, once I get used to it and the bug hits again it will hit it up with a PWR intercooler ($900), Injectors ($500), High Flow Exhaust ($1500) a valve springs ($800), not sure what a tuner will charge for installing the intercooler or injectors and add for a tune a get ready for 300RWKW plus, and another $4k or so
  7. I'm getting around 17.8 per 100km, Sydney city driving. I cruise on the streets but do give it a bit between traffic lights for my personal satisfaction. In the city these cars drink more then a LS1.
  8. This is getting confusing; I thought I read somewhere replacing the CAT improved output by around 10kw on a stock T. I have pasted a link on some exhaust testing and the system was a 3 inch system, but replacing the standard CAT with Hi-Flow Unit will add less back pressure? This I assume will allow you to create the same level of power with less boost? results
  9. I Agree, I think the bang for bucks stops around the 250RWKW as after that things seem to break and more money needs to be out laid for Springs, injectors, Hi-Flow Exhaust, Auto mods and anything I might have left out, for around $1600 you can get another 50RWKW over standard, the Next 50 RWKW seems to cost a whole lot more :(
  10. whats does a oil cooler cost to install would ford do it at the service centre or would it be better to get your tuner to install it ?
  11. So it would be better to go EDIT with no other mods except a trans oil cooler to keep auto happy and keep it under 10 psi boost to keep with in the limits of the injectors and springs. This will hopefully give us around 300 Flywheel KW, and save a heap of money, until I can afford all the other mods :(
  12. I'm in the same boat, I want to get around 260RWKW and dont think the dealer will fix the auto if I break the box becuase of modifications and if they do it will be a stock rebuild. What is the cost of beefing up the Box to handle the 250RWKW ?
  13. Senior Network Engineer/Manager for a I.T/ISP in Sydney. Working mostly on Microsoft OS and Cisco Secuirty/Networking Equipment. Pays for my Car and planned mods, (maybe buy a house next year)
  14. I paid $300 for a 3" Magnaflow Hi flow cat and pipes to centre muffler. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm just trying to work out the price differene in Melb and sydney where they can get 3 inch high flow CAT and pipes for $300 and in sydney we get quoted $650 ??
  15. I was quoted $650 for 3 inch pipe from Dump to cat, 3 inch CAT (Xforce) then 3 inch pipe from CAT to centre muffler. it was all stainless steel. I want to retain the centre and rear muffler for the quite sound. is this price too much ?
  16. what should one expect to pay for a High flow 3 inch CAT with engine pipe and pipe to centre muffler ? should we go for the 3.5 inch cat or there is no difference ?
  17. thanks, called Chris and spoke ti him. nice guy, really quite helpful. After I get my car checked out by ford for its 3k service I will plan the EDIT and exhaust mod as my stage one.
  18. Does any one sell aftermarket gauge holders like the ones on the Super Pursuit? That they would recommend? Would Ford Spare parts sell the holder with out the gauges? Or do you need to own a FPV ? I have checked out SS inductions website but it does not look as good as the factory holders from FPV? I might be wrong, has any one installed a gauge holder?
  19. $645 a month for 48 months with a $15k residual, all up $51K for the car over 4 years. its a hire purchase
  20. Hi I wanted to see the forums opinion on just replacing the Dump pipe and Cat on the T and retaining the rest of the system. I like the quite note of the Exhaust at the moment but want to get an Edit and maybe a PWR intercooler down the track. Is there any one in Sydney that can be recommended to replace the dump pipe with a 4 inch system into a 4 inch cat then into the standard dual 2 ¼, it don’t really require it to be 304 stainless steel but I like the look of the system at www.smb.net, any thoughts would be nice.
  21. Hi All I'm about to book my car in for its first Dealer Inspection or 3000km service, I have had no problems with the Car and it goes like a dream, I'm not sure where I read it on the forum but does the Dealer actually Flash the Factory computer at the 3k service to allow more power ?
